MLife Offers.......can't they spell it out alittle better online?

Here's what the offer says.............

Michael Jordan Golf Invite

•Contact Casino VIP services for information and availability

Offer dates: 3/31/2011 - 4/3/2011

** COMP (based on play)

Comp, what? What is this really? Can't Michael pop for the room?

That's from an e-mail which I had trashed -- no idea about anything else related to the event.
CLV, you're dead right. I just went through a similar thing on the MLife site. "Call for details" so I did. Got the details and wanted to book it. The operator said he couldn't book it and would have to put me through to my host. I don't have a host there....the chick is actually Barb's host who has NEVER gotten one reservation correct in the handful of times we used her. I hung up. LOL

Been a few years since I had any status with HET but giving credit where it's due, their online offer and reservation system was/is infinitely better than the MGM offering.

Dan
All it is is an offer to VIEW the celebrity golf tourney. Tickets for all 4 days cost $100.

knagl- Thanks, thats alittle more info than on MLife site. Still kinda Vague though.

Who cares about viewing? And frankly, the offer doesn't even say it comes with a room..........?

Yep Dan, Mlife has a ways to go to aspire to CE website. CE is fun to bash, but most of the
time their site is the best for booking.......or at least explaining more about the offer.
Not this *CALL sh*t. (I'm watching Kathy Griffin, hence the mouth)

I would have done the same thing. Hang up.

It is just short of useless. Here's an offer I wanted to book today for friends who are coming to town:

Dierks Bentley and ACM Fan Jam with Sugarland

2 Complimentary tickets to Dierks Bentley OR ACM Fan Jam
Offer code: 65000
Must book by: 4/5/2011
Offer dates: 3/31/2011 - 4/5/2011
COMP
Call 877.632.7503 for more information or to book your reservation

OK, so is it for both (AND) or for one or the other (OR). Turns out it was OR. OK, no problem, I'll take the tickets for the Fan Jam.

You have to book a room and the room is at casino rate. Really? Where does it say that? Oh, on your computer screen....great, don't you think it would be useful for it to be on MY computer screen?

You know what? It's really not that important.....forget it, I don't need the tickets that bad.

While on the site, I wanted to book an offer for three nights at the Beau Rivage in April. This one had a "More Info" box you could click on. I'm thinking/hoping that this would put me into an online reservation screen. Instead I get a message "The Offer Selected is Not Available at this time - Please choose a different Offer." After a few attempts (the true definition of insanity), I call the hotel. Yes, it's no problem, the dates are available, here's your confirmation number.

There are aspects that I really like about MGM but this M Life online system sucks big time.

Dan

lol ,lol ,lol, and lol , Oh Dan ! I could just picture when they said what the casino rate would be lol ,lol ... They might as well told you the price for the whole hotel/casino lol ,lol... Richard from Ca.
M Life online system sucks big time"

That's it, in a nutshell.
I agree the website isn't very user friendly. It would be much better if you could just go ahead and book the offer on line.

Sometimes I need to talk to Reservations..........but most of the time, I prefer to DO the
booking myself.

Appears you not only DON'T get the chance with MLife reservations online,
but you Also have to call to find out What the Details are.

Stations website got better, and easier to book online. Although I've learned to keep
a copy of Conf# where it states, No resort fee on Comp room, so there's no ques. at check in.

CE/HET still beats them All to heck with their online system. Its still the Best, in my opinion.

And I guess I won't be staying at SP anytime soon, because you really get No offers from
them and MUST go thru a Host? That won't be me.

After Ven/Pal. I want EVERYTHING IN WRITING. I want to SEE the Offer ahead of time.

Everything in the Open. Spell it out. No Fine Print either, like on MLife offers. That Sucks.
No thanks.
