MSS Comps - How much daily coin-in for free play offer?

I've been playing/staying at MSS for about 5 years and tend to average $3-$6k CI per day, which has for the most part provided me with 3 free nights (and recently $40 in food) per month. Last time I visited I saw a $50 FSP offer when at the slot club booth. Does anyone know what play level is required for that offer or other ones? Just wanted to see if there are any data points out there.

Also, any idea is short playing a day at MSS hurts your offers as much as say Four Queens (where I know you always want to concentrate your play in midnight to midnight periods)? I know the player's club day at MSS to 4am-4am which is impacting my daily average there. Sometimes I'll check in late around midnight and start playing but don't know if that's hurting me or if its total play over the stay that really matters for marketing offers.

Free play is based on 0.5% of coin-in. So $50 in FSP is on $10K of action. Short play on a day does in deed hurt. In fact mailed offers are based entirely on daily average so playing more than one day makes little sense.

Are you sure about free play at .5%? MSS is a Boyd property and the free play is .1% (up to .3% for Emerald card holders) for the locals properties (Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast & Sam's Town). Hard to believe they have $1 10/7 DB and .5% free play! Thats a $28 to $32 hourly earning rate, depending on your speed.

Don, He or she is referring to the free play which is part of the monthly hotel room offers, not the .1% slot club comp percentage.

Sorry to sidetrack this thread somewhat, but with Four Queens, how should I deal with the Slot Club and playing when I'm staying there? Should I make sure that everything is done by Midnight (stopping play) and getting anything (including Cashback) out of the Slot Club? And so on the day that I'm checking out, I should not play there at all?

Thank you kiwi, just wanted to confirm that the MSS periods are in fact 4am-4am for the purposes of daily average?

Regarding 4 queens, I never even put my card in a machine outside of my heavy play days just to be safe.

I wonder then if I still want to play between 12 Midnight and when I leave for home, if I should go elsewhere like Cal, MSS or El Cortez (I know that El Cortez's Slot day also runs from 12 Midnight to 11:59PM)?

Any other ideas or suggestions on this?

I can confirm the bounce back for 10/7 DB is indeed 0.5% at MSS IF played right. Honestly it is one of the weaker bounceback downtown. Every other casino is higher.
