Need guidance for December

Here's my story:  I am heading to Nevada in December, and my two goals are to maintain my Caesar Diamond Status and finish my LVA Downtown coupon run.

It's also my birthday month (Christmas Eve - no, I don't like it either), and I'm sure there's some +EV plays with that.

I'm not taking the wife on this trip, so I can focus on gambling.

I'll be staying at the Four Queens with their 100.17 FPDB games - I'm not as dumb as I look.

So I ask you, my fellow degenerate gamblers, what must I do on this 2 day trip in mid-December?

(I don't know what to offer for this possible quid pro quo, but i would offer any available pro quo...)

For only two days, I wouldn't try to go anywhere but the 4Q/downtown. 4Q will have some worthwhile promo that will take a few hours to take advantage of, and you can do an LVA coupon run as well.

Birthday promos are pretty much a dead duck these days, but Magnolia's at 4Q will have something for you. By all means, though, ask every boothling at every casino you visit.

There's not jack diddly you can do downtown to maintain your CET status, but frankly, the blood you have to shed for that just isn't worth it any more. There isn't even mediocre gambling at CET properties any more.

I "think" CET properties are offering a 5X Tier Credit multiplier DEC 16 - 27, not sure if you will be in town then but that would likely be the best option to grab some points!

It's funny that they don't post these bonuses well in advance. Maybe they gauge the demand in a particular market for a given upcoming time period and put up a bonus if that demand is flagging.

By far the best option available at Vegas CET properties is 8/5 Bonus Poker...IF you can find it, and IF there's not some penalty attached to it (like only half the Reward Credits you would normally get). I haven't done the most recent research, because I don't see any reason to set foot in a CET property--anywhere.

Reserve restaurants and special occasion Birthday. At least get a comp dessert.Maybe check with Caesar's reward booth for suggestions on maintaining Diamond.Good luck.Last June MGM gave my son a 2 month axtensive on gold.Which was a Diamond match.

How close are you to Diamond?  What denomination do you play?  Can you play some slots or are you tables only?

I'd have to say for just two days you might need to forget the coupon run and spend the time working on Diamond, if it is that important to you.  Diamond has the benefit of the multiplier for all of your play all year, which could outweigh the coupon run benefits. 

But then, you could pick a few hours to spend Downtown and do the coupon run, then focus on CET for the Diamond.

Do you not get mailers that inform you of multiplier promotions?  

It may be late in the year to look for tier matching, but do look.  There were some online lists of who was matching with whom.  And you could just settle for your Platinum (I assume) and look for matching after the first of the year.  Good luck.

This is correct regarding the posted CET TC multiplier days in Dec 2024. These CET TC multiplier promos , despite typically poor Strip gaming odds and options, are a decent value for the spend to capture comped Strip rooms for a calendar year @CET props; Diamond members also get $100 dining credit annually FWIW ( like..2 hamburgers, 2 orders of fries, and 2 beers at applicable CET eateries).  CET members can typically see these promos posted on their online offer accounts generally two - three months out from valid offer dates. Doesn't apply short term now, but they generally have offered a 10X TC promo in late August every year. How much total time to complete your LVA coupon run..half a day? You could do both, seems like..if CET Diamond is important to you.

Reserve a table for a time near sunset at Top of Binions and use your 25% off full bill coupon.  The food is decent (not as great as Oscars at Plaza or Andiamo at the D, but the service is excellent, the drinks are great and the view is classic Vegas.
