New Aria Offer

After literally taking rooms and free play only from Aria last year, I not surprisingly fell off their radar.

I was on the M Life website yesterday and unexpectedly seen a March Promo Offer from Aria. I usually skip these because they're generally discounted rooms. However, this one had the words "free play" listed so I got slightly excited. As usual, this offer was not fully disclosed online and you had to call for info.

I did call and find out that it provided for 3 nights in an "Innovative Room" (WTF is that?), 2 for 1 Elvis tixs, and the real prize, $200 in free play.

I don't get these guys but I'm not complaining. I'm wondering if they're feeling like their players are bailing out at the sidewalk and going to Cosmo?

Barb and our roommate also got offers there but this wasn't surprising as they previously played. Theirs were only nominally better than mine with $250 and $300 in free play respectively.

A totally free combined back to back six night staycation on the Strip along with a combined $450 in free play. Only in America...only in Vegas!

Be on the lookout....the offer appeared online and then I coincidentally received an email version last evening.

Here's my offer. I guess I made the mistake of playing!

Mare, WTF is wrong with these guys?

I promise you I never put a penny of my own money through any of their machines. I'm on a different computer so I don't have my play spreadsheet for last year but I'm guessing that I'm up $800 or so from them along with 10 or so free room nights.

MC given me about the same as Aria is giving you. I wouldn't stay at MC if it was free so paying for it isn't an option.

Overall, not impressed with casino marketing based on skill set but sometimes I just gotta love em!

Methinks their Exec attended the V/P school of comps.

Dan -- The MGM Resorts marketing department is SO screwed up. I've given the majority of my play to Excalibur and this is my current offer:

Can you believe that after what we used to get? WTF?!
Dan/Mare:

For comparison purposes, these are my offers. We haven't stepped foot in any MGM property since March of last year. Husband's are the same, but $200 in FP.

My welcome offers are the same, except only $100 free play.
What's a welcome offer? LOL

This Aria offer represents the BEST MGM Resorts offer I have for all Vegas properties. To be fair, I've not been playing there so I'm not surprised. I am however pleasantly surprised at what Aria is giving me.

Here is an odd one.

Last week I was in the Aria and I went to the players club desk to check my points etc.

I asked if I had any free offers for April. Answer: Oh Yes, free nights at ARIA, Bell... etc.
That certainly is nice.

The woman at the desk was looking at her computer screen and gratuitously offers up "I see you really played a lot last month (January)
that is probably why you are getting all these offers."

Well, the surprise is that in January I did play very heavy, but not at MGM Properties.
I was at Cosmopolitan, and Palazzo.

I am curious if they are getting player information from other casinos.
I could understand Cosmo, possibly since it is part of City Center.

BTW Cosmopolitan comped three night, V/P doesn't want to know me.

I played at Aria last Jan (2010) and just recieved 3 night in a corner suite, $100/ day f/B and $500 freplay.

Were staying at Paris at the end of the month and my wife didn't want the hassle of checking in and not using the room. I just shook my head and let this offer go by the way side............Tom
