Well some losses and gains as every year. Palms couple match plays, Rio still strong, long time coupons continue.

Solid book once again. I was hoping Stations/Boyd would come back. Wishful thinking.
I will be very interested to hear all comments, good and bad. This might have been the best MRB ever if Palms hadn't pulled the buffet and they did it 2 days before deadline after agreeing to continue 2 months ago, and they were the only ones not to renew from last year. But I feel the additions make up for it. Station and Boyd were contacted and didn't even respond. I'll write about some of this publicly, but will answer all questions directly in this thread.

I think the Palms' move illustrates exactly why the MRB doesn't and shouldn't come out any earlier than it does.
Once again, those big locals chains gave LVA the Boyd. I used to be a very frequent customer of both Stations and Boyd, but if they can't spare a goddamn $10 matchplay coupon, I can't spare the time to visit/play there.
Have you received any specific positive feedback from any casino that is and has been in the LVA book? Do they measure how much additional business it gets them? Any solid data could serve as a selling point to bring other casinos on board.
Coupons are awesome. I used a 2-fir-1 coupon to get married twice (simultaneously) at Vegas Vladimir's Love Chapel and Bait Shop. Savings!
Question: is this year's Rio room offer reusable, as it turned out to be last year (to our total surprise)? It literally saved me $600.

I was hoping every Stations and Boyd casino would be replaced by a thousand-foot-deep smoking crater, but no such luck.
Execs at both companies have been very clear about not offering any bargains to anybody. They've made the bored suburban McMansion crowd pretty much their sole focus--not us filthy coupon-grubbing tourists.
Not many of them track. Those that do like the results. I can tell you that between the top 6 or 7 influencers that did videos, mostly about the Palms, they had over 500K subscribers. How do you not get your PR value out of that, not to mention the visitation to the casino for what is at least a breakeven proposition on a BOGO?
The Rio deal was supposed to be one-time use like all the other offers. I'm pretty sure Rio knew of the glitch and maybe they had rooms to fill and didn't care. Not sure if that will be the case this year.
Since posting this yesterday I've been reading some of the backs of the casinos and noticed the back of Silver Sevens free comedy show or magic shoe the details are for $10 free play. Is there a free play for them?
Also Binions details says max benefit for steakhouse is $100. Is that 20% off each or how are they figuring.
For us it's a great book with all of our favorites back. We didn't use Palms buffet as we use there monthly promotion of 500 points get a breakfast buffet free. But feel sorry for those who love the bogo for dinner/lobster. As everyone states if the casino gives an incentive to get in the door they'll make plenty back when people play the games.
The loss of the multiplier for slot/vp points at the D hurts! This was the one coupon that alone pretty much paid for the membership. I don't know if I can see $50 of value for gaming, in the places I play at any longer.
