Got an email on Friday (1/23) afternoon saying that it is now shipping and available for pickup
Thanks I see that now.Miss Palms buffet.
Anthony, confused. Looking at the Jan newsletter, top 10 LV deals, #4. "Buffet - Palms Daily - $23.50/$40". "The A.Y.C.E. Buffet at the Palms (#4) drops a couple spots due to some restrictions on this year’s Member Rewards offer."
What is this referring to as I see no online or in the printed coupon list to equate to these prices. On palms website says brunch at $42.99, dinner $46.99. What am I missing?
That's unfortunate on the lobster buffet gone. Wonderful you had it for 2 years in a row, loved it. That was the clincher for us, above and beyond the book cost and value for us with other places too. Some of our casual favorites are missing this year, pop up pizza, fat choy, Emerald island cafe, Seigals at El Cortez, etc. is gone. We enjoy 4 queens cafe but we get a BOGO for our birthday month so get a few of those no cost. Used to enjoy Binions Cafe for many years until we went again in 2025, won't be back. Would have been nice to get some other buffet somewhere like Main street(sounds like you tried at that organization as a whole), even the non-lobster basic dinner/lunch at Palms, South Point. Unfortunatly for our use which is mostly casual dining and especially a buffet or so, this years list just doesn't add value for us. Maybe next year. Understand you're at the mercy of the casinos and restaurants. Hopefully we will return to the fold in 2027. Best to your organization and future success.
Palms made up for it with match/free play offers. Vegas is always changing. And the decline in visitors is two fold. 1: fewer visitors means more competition but also 2: margins and going concern are under pressure. Hard to balance both.
I booked mid-January with the code and it worked for me. Booked two rooms for a week for $600 at Rio.
I am confident Rio wants to fill rooms. Their relaunch so far is not a success. They had to take out a new loan to cover their old loan. And the renovation is just doing smaller things at this time. Turns out it is very difficult to compell people to pay a lot for the rooms when there is a LOT of competition in Vegas: on and off the Strip.

Layoffs, merging the players club with the floor cashier. Removing all gaming from the middle section and putting in benches with huge projectors. Delayed Masquerade renovation.

I didn't check all the offers you said are "missing," but I had to see if the Emerald Island/Rainbow coupons were still there. They are--exactly the same as last year. So is Fat Choy, a place I would never have tried otherwise and turned out to be excellent.
And just to repeat what I've said before, if you consider the EI/Rainbow coupons in toto--abd you should, they're across the street from each other--you have two free meals, worth about $15 each, and two wheel spins with a combined EV of $37. Best deal in the book, especially now that the Palms has delobsterized us.

The mistake Rio is making is trying to operate with less staffing than any other hotel/casino ever has. Emblematic of that is a front desk that doesn't even answer the phone. You have to claw your way past Rio Rita, the Customer Evasion bot. Have fun!
