We're intending on a portion of this tier match pig trail in a couple weeks. We'll match CET Diamond Plus to Wynn Platinum, then match that to the described FB Gold ; in our case , we'll engage this match to acquire the $150 dining credit at FB along with free parking ( including valet, FWIW) and waived resort fees ( we'll likely never stay there unless it's comped). If we do obtain comped rooms from them, another Gold tier perk is midweek upgrades to some pretty nice suites; my wife is a lot more enjoyable to be around when she's smiling?
We have no use for spas or cruises, but game them according to your likes. I figure we can get two double cheeseburgers ( maybe with green chile?), maybe some beer battered onion rings and a couple drinks for that $150 dining credit. All it costs us is the time to complete the tier match hiking trail.They do have a large bank of 9-line progressive machines there that I personally enjoy playing at ( we spent 2 half days there on our last trip in Feb. and they sent a 4 night comped room offer with $300 FP for our low-roller spend on that trip). It appears that FB is now offering a bit of that "we're open now" incentive trap madness in an attempt to compete with their Strip peers. Milk it while it lasts..get anything you can for very little spend. Further, it smells good in that joint and their bathrooms ( the ones I saw) are immaculate..not that any of that has much to do with the price of root vegetables or gasoline.
An update here. Fontainebleau no longer requires you to stay at the hotel to cash in the spa. So the headline should now read:
New tier match = $300 food comps + $200 spa comp + cruise offer. (Times two for us.)
Be aware that the FB-->Wynn match reported in June LVA is NOT valid. Wynn ended their match on May 31st and I confirmed they have no plans to extend the promotion.
We just recieved an email that in Feb. that Wyndham will no longer be status matching with Ceasars. Anyone else have information on this new update ?
