November EI/Rainbow mailer

Has anyone received the EI/Rainbow flyer yet?  If so, do they still have the same multiplier times/levels this month?  Thanks

Yep, it looks pretty much like the last dozen or so I've received. The multiplier times are always the same every day.

Thanks Kevin.  I appreciate you letting me know.  Take care.

I was there last week and really enjoyed both places.  They had a bar promo going too with VP and quads as long as you played a minimum $1 per hand, you got $10 for a quad currently not hit (1 of 13)  The 13th one would spell out Rainbowcasino and that got you $25.  Small promo but pretty nice for $1.25 quarters.

Plus they had all the other stuff.  I got about 70,000 points in the two days I was there Kevin.  And I didn't even pay for any meals both days.  I ate their each day once.

Promos like that are surprisingly valuable on an EV basis. When all 13 quads are available, that works out to 8 extra bets per 400 hands, or a 2% boost to EV.

And of course, you're racking up a zillion points if you play at the right times. 25X points gives you a 1.5% boost.

You're not gonna get rich playing there, but you're not going to get skinned alive, either. And that's what most of us are looking for--some fun at minimal cost.

I am not on the Emerald Island mailing list yet. I am planning on going out there in mid December, what would be the best days and times to play video poker to get the bonuses?

The times of day are basically 2-hour periods at 2-hour intervals; the most relevant periods are 10-12 am, 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm. Doesn't matter what day it is. Same bonuses and times at EI or Rainbow.

NOTE: Bonuses do not apply to multi-line video poker. There's plenty of excellent single-line, though. Make sure that you're getting the bonuses as you play--you may need to reinsert your player's card.

There is another reason to show up on Sunday (Rainbow) or Tuesday (EI), though. There's a promo once a week at each location, where you play $1400 and get $20 cashback.

I plan to have my dinners at 5 pm, since that's when they change to the dinner specials menu and it's still two hours until bonus time.

I think you mentioned full-pay multiline VP at EI, where did you say they were located? We're going to be in town the second week in December.

That is exactly what I was looking for and I owe you one with this recommendation.

I got most of my points during the 25x points hour(s).  Plus it is just a fun place to hang around.

Max:

NSUD, JoB and others are spread all over the casino.  You just have to check VPfree2 or pay some attention to the pay tables like I did before playing a machine.  I played a lot of 10-line nickels.  Sometimes I played 5 coins and other times 10 coins so $2.50 or $5 a hand.  I had a blast.  One game I pesonally like is double super times BP.  A little more volatile but not really that bad with nickels.  Try that game at 5 coin nickel.  Pretty fun.

The casino does this kind of like Southpoint does.  Don't kill your customers but get small casino margins.  The slot club is only .06666 so NSUD is essentially 99.8% game.  But with the free meals and easy way to earn points with these multiplier times, I bet it gets you close to 100%.  Plus the employees are super nice and I sat around a lot of nice and polite fellow players.  These two places are my new favorites.
