Palms two free buffets

I see from the Palms web site that you can get two free buffets after earning 500 tier points (2K coin-in on VP according to vpfree). If I use the 5x Wednesday multiplier, does that mean I can get the free buffets for only $400 coin-in?

Never. Not at any casino on Earth. For such promos, multipliers don't count, only "base" points.

Also, at many casinos, tier points are something different from plain old points points. Might not be the case at Palms.

Last trip- 2 weeks ago - I went to the Palms and played video poker. I checked my account and found that I had played enough to qualify for 2 free buffets, good once for 1 week. I went back to the Palms 2 days later to eat at 11 am. There was a tremendous line that was barely moving. I asked a worker how long the wait would be and was told 1 to 1 1/2 hours, based upon past days. I then asked if this was normal and she said yes it was becaues seemingly everyone was getting the same offer. I asked when was the best time to line to go - I believe the offer time was from 9 am til 2 pm - and she said that the line normally starts forming around 8 am, if not earlier. Needless to say, I did not stay to eat there.

Always go the first hour or two or enjoy standing or as my wife figures I stand in line for and hour and a half while she plays.

Casino,s should get the message.I think lot of folks would like buffets back.

Standing in line at a casino is worth $100 an hour, as otherwise you'd be at the tables or slots losing that much. So have your wife wait with you and you'll be $300 ahead by the time you get into the buffet.
