question on four queens offer

That is in the same ballpark as my range. My average was 1500 a day on a trip last week. A host told me the levels had changed a bit but she wasn't sure what the amount was since it is a Marketing offer. We may have narrowed down the target for Kiwiboy1.

Great information everyone, really appreciated.
Regarding using 4Q's freeplay across two months: We have found when we book our stay across the two months, they will load the freeplay for the end of the first month but not at the beginning of the second month. What we have been doing recently is book the stay at 4Q's starting the first day of the second month and stay somewhere else at the end of the first month. Doing that we have been able to get the freeplay for both months. However I would advise giving them a full days play if you take the freeplay for the first month to keep your daily average whole.

Regarding offers, both of us have pretty consistently given them 1,500-2,000 points worth of play each for a three day trip (that's $12,000-$16,000 play through at $8/point) over the years and had consistently received mailed offers of 3 nights stay, food at Magnolias and $80 freeplay. Starting sometime in 2012 they cut that back to two nights, no food up front and $40 freeplay. When I asked why our offers went down, the host said that our play had dropped. It hadn't, but we were playing a partial day on our going home day and we stopped doing that so we didn't negatively affect our daily average. He did confirm that they base their comps on daily average, not trip average.

Our last stay at 4Q's was end of January/first of February this year. I played 2,000 points over three full days, my wife played 2,500 points. Our offers for May came this week and they were two free nights, no food up front, $40 freeplay and $20 in chips. A little better, but still not where we were before. Given that, I do believe they have tightened down their offers starting sometime in 2012.

Strangely, we started getting reasonably good offers (for Boyd anyway) from MSS about the same time they started going down at 4Q's, even though we had given them less play than 4Q's. So more recently we have started alternating trips between 4Q's and MSS. Our next trip is March 30th through April 3rd, at MSS for a VP tournament April 1-3. We will probably get the 4Q's March freeplay on the 30th and give them about 500 points worth of play before we go over to MSS.

Don, your a man in the know... it would seem the play requirement has changed at 4Q for the RFB mailer. Do you happen to know what is now? 1500pts? 2000pts?

Not sure what it is for out-of-towners.

For May/June offer, Mrs. Don and I both received $400 in free play and $400 in chips.

Dang Don, how many points do you accumulate in a day if I may ask??? Also, 1 dinner at Hugo's or more??
I'm retired and live in Las Vegas and play a decent amount at the Four Queens. I started keeping really good records starting in 2009 and for the last four years, we (my wife and I) averaged more than $100,000 coin-in per month there.

We get comps from the 4Q based on our level of play.

Did your offer include meals at Hugo's?

I've been getting the same offer for years at 4Q. Latest offer is $200 free play, $100 Chips and food at Magnolia and Chicago Brewing. No mention of Hugo's!

Same offer here, I hadn't changed my play other than maybe I put just over 1,000 points instead of 1,200 points.

Aren't they always *TWEAKING* their comp system? Minor variances every so often...

Also, I was there in March and noticed that the 50-play and 100-play now require $12 coin-in to get a point.

Wow, bad news about the 50 and 100 plays.
Does their daily count end at midnight each day or is it some weird time in the middle of the morning like caesars?
Id like to follow up on reeld01's post above. I'm planning a trip to the 4queens over Labor day weekend, which happens to span both August and September offer periods and I'd like to redeem both month's free play by playing there on Saturday and Sunday. I was planning to check in on Friday August 30th and out Sunday September 1st (technically this counts as a 2 August night stay in August as the host wouldn't let me extend the reservation to include the night of sep 1st even though my offer includes 3 nights). I'm concerned that my free play for the sep/oct period won't be available Sep1 based on Reels01's comments (does checking out on the 1st count as "spanning 2 periods"?). Does anyone else have experience with this situation? FYI I am planning to stay at a different property Sunday and Monday nights but can adjust the reservation or my play schedule to maximize potential rewards.

Also when should we expect the Sep/Oct offers?

Thanks!
