Red Rock/GVR offers for non-locals?

@CLV, nothing on the website for offers either.

@queenanne: Avg about 25-35K/per day. Video poker.

The only thing I can figure is that I played lighter on a holiday offer in Dec (15-17K/day, for 2 days). Have been playing enough on our visits to maintain Platinum status for the past 3-4 years (not that it means anything). Just kind of disappointed. I like that freeplay. Last played end of March/early April, next trip August. Hope to get something for the summer, but not holding my breath...
Dan, good to see you got an offer. Now it could be a "we are not going to be sold" offer, rather than a miss you want you back.
I have had some success in the past wtih randomly picking a casino host from the GVR/Red Rock website and emailing them to see what I could get. You never know. Provide them with your players card number and when you are thinking of visiting.
My mailers are mid month to mid month and the current one has fewer comped nights, buffets and fsp. Funny thing, my losses at RR 2 months ago were good enough to make me host worthy - I received my first call from a host in Vegas offering me a 2 night comp.

More irritating, I decided to add a night to an upcoming trip and tried to book at Aliante using a marketing offer. I spoke to a person in reservations who said the reason the computer said they were sold out was because they had less than 20 rooms available. The next day I spoke with the host on duty who offered me casino rate and offered to look at my play at check out. I politely said no thank you, went back to the website and booked a comped Sat night at Sunset Station. I might call back and ask if there is any way they can move the reservation from Sunset to Aliante.

Why not shoot for RR Lisa? Do you only want Aliante?
I wanted to stay in North Las Vegas and RR's casino hates me. I'd rather use the hosts offer for when I want another quiet off-strip trip.
I don't get out to vegas but twice a year.
My Stations offers are consistantly 2 free nights w/ $25/35 FP.
I don't often stay there but i do like it.
Seems to me we used to get FP without a hotel stay. I regularly got $35.

Now, my FP is ONLY good With Hotel stay. I was able to get 3X points on my play Wed. at RR,
but inquired about $100 FP on my offer? Nope, only with hotel stay.
I have finally reached a conclusion in this Red Rock Mystery:

I was able to talk to somebody who gave me the truth. It appears I have been put on a "Do Not Invite List". Now the reasons I was told I was put on this list are as follows:

1. I used offers. Isnt the reason they give out offers is so that people will use them? Well apparently, I used them every time I booked there (duh, thats why Im booking there) 4-5 times a year.
2. I was over-comped. No specifics on this, but I always went through a host prior to using points (which I had cashed in for free play prior to check out), I guess this is a no-no.
3a. I was told that is is rare for a slot player (VP) to get on this list usually it is BJ/table games players. I dont even play 100% pay back games, prefer 8/5 BP.
3b. Bottom line, I won too much at RR (yes, I was told this). Granted I have been pretty lucky here, but overall a loser the last two years in LV casinos, most of my royals have been at RR. Which make sense since the majority of my heavy play has been here.

Many on this board have said "Never marry a casino". They are correct, I really enjoyed stations and specifically RR for the last 5-6 years. Too bad. But a good lesson to not get too comfortable in one spot since things are always changing, but not always for the better.

More time at South Point on the horizon, and time to re-visit M and The Palms, maybe even give the Coast properties another shot.
