RIO LVA offer

We took Anthony's advice from a couple weeks back,,, I signed my wife up for a monthly membership (for April) and printed off her and my RIO coupons for New RIO Rewards club free play, RIO calls it,, Frioplay,,  After enrolling, I received my $25 bonus (Platinum-annual member), she received $25 (inadvertently I presume) not $15, as we expected,

An unexpected bonus,,, after we earned 100 points we each received an additional $25 of free play.

And, had we earned 1000 points,, within 48 hours of joining,, we would have received an additional club bonus.

The free play matched your bet until the $25 was expended. It seemed to encourage a quick visit to the High Limit room to place a single $25 or multiple $5 first bets.

The VP pay tables were 9/6 for DDB. Better than most or all of the BYD VP paytables next door at the Gold Coast.  The entire bill for a single night's stay with the LVA room discount was about  $112 (which includes $56 resort fee/tax).  The room was nice, it was in the unrenovated Masquerade tower (Iponema tower IS renovated), the room was huge, certainly the size of a suite) and very clean.

Thanks Anthony, a good call for a "hack" at the RIO. Enjoyed the stay and will return.

Bruce,

Hubby and I were in the Rio last month - we were both given the $25 dollars from the LVA printable coupon. As you say, unexpected - we were happy to receive it!

Coincidentally, we had the same fortune in Ellis Island - the freeplay and the matchplay in the book was given to the two of us. Said something about us coming all the way from the UK - happy to accept whatever the comment!

Agree.

Has anyone used their LVA coupon for a room at the Rio? Did you actually get 30% off and no resort fees? Did you book online?

My wife and I go to Vegas in a week. We both are platinum members. I'm confused about how you get the $25 free play. Could someone please explain this to me. We plan on visiting the Rio already and I'd like to take advantage of this deal. Thank you.

Join the Rio Rewards players' club (free). Play the requisite amount on slots or video poker to earn the needed points (making sure your player's card is inserted and tracking your play. Return to the players' club and present your LVA coupon. They will verify your point earning and put your free play on your card, giving you instructions on how to redeem it. You can use it on any machine.

The best way to do this is to earn the free play on a 9/6 Jacks or Better VP machine.

I used the deal last year and intend on using it later this year.  I book online.  Just remember to add the LVA25 code to your offer and it will give you the discounted rates.

The nice thing is that you don't have to present the physical coupon; you check in at a kiosk and if you want to interact with the front desk staff for any reason, they run and hide. The Idiot Bot on their website will accept the offer code multiple times. So, you can revisit and get the same offer again. No human interaction required.
