Rio Resort Fee Increase

Just got another offer from the Rio for 4 free room nights but would be required to pay the resort fee.  I took advantage of the one that I received in August.  Since then, the resort fee has increased from $45.35 to $56,69.  Definitely not worth it.  Take care everyone.

I guess they decided to pay for their new construction and light show through resort fees. I get it, but most of us have no love for the Rio since the 90s.

That's a kind of shameless increase. Doesn't hurt me, though--the gambling there is terrible, the food is expensive, and the location pretty much sucks except as a way to access the Palms and Gold Coast (two places that didn't used to suck but now do).

Amazingly short sighted and stupid. They present a great offer for those getting a card which is/was bringing people to the property and then some bean counter decided it was time to gouge others who may want to get a card and stay there.

I purchased one for the old price when I was 62.  I live about 15 minutes from the Colorado National Monument and go there often in the spring and fall to hike.  Sometimes I like to crunch through the snow in the winter when we get a rare snowfall.  Take care.

Robert Glad you go the great $10. Price. For those who visit national parks often even $80.

lifetime a good deal.
