Sam's Town offer yanked

I just tried to make reservations at Sam's for a mailer for Feb.. I did this online at the B-Connected site. The dates I selected were sold out. I tried different dates. No go. I even tried mid-week. Everything sold-out. Hmmm. Call the reservation number and am told they have pulled the offer. Too many people, not enough rooms. The offer was 3 nites,$25 each day, and $30 food each day. This was good for Jan., Feb, and Mar.
I am steamed. I just got back Mon. nite from the Jan. offer. Great trip, looking forward to using this offer again and again as the offer says and then experiencing this. Thoughts?

I'll guess Sam's Town got a lot more liberal in its comp policies/offers and were surprised by the response.
In our case, the offers for Jan.-Feb.-Mar took a big jump over previous months...$150 in free slot play each day, use of gold card for food and beverage, three free nights.
We booked a Feb. 14 arrival, staying five nights. Made the reservation about a month ago.
Can only hope this lasts...but now I have my doubts.
I had the same offer and used it in January. I was really surprised to see it so generous. Had to book it thru my host, who was really upset with marketing on the amount of the offer and the fact that it could be used with a tournament. They honored it, of course. But there was a strong suggestion that it would be pulled. Waiting to see what the offer is for the April time period (the other was Jan thru Mar).
I also got a great offer from them, I booked it for end of march. $50 food comps daily, $100 in slot play daily and 3 free nites. Im sapphire and make 3 trips a year there, but never this big an offer. Glad I booked it now!
