Southpoint comps

Question about Southpoint. Wife and I went to Southpoint mid January for NFL playoff weekend. I decided to try it again as our offers from M have dried up. We paid the full internet price . At the end of the weekend I talked to machine and table hosts. both said they wanted a little more play, the slot host did adjust the room rate to player and give us a free breakfast. Since then I have had no follow up mailer which suprised me. Normally when I go to ant off strip property and give them decent play I get a mailer. Any input from the boards?

PS Who will take care of you for a $3000 weekend? I can loose that if luck is bad.

I have stayed at SP the last 3 trips. The mailers for my play are really poor or just sad. I do 6 to 7k per day. My host always gives me a room for 4 nites without a question. Even with a friday last time. And then comp a meal or 2. I like SP so will stay there using a host no big deal.

Buit the mailers could use some work to be sure. I have heard that from others.

Yeah, mailers to seem to be poor and few. Our last two stays have been comped by the pit bosses and we typically play $10-$15 bj (each, for two of us) for probably an average of 3-4 hours (if that) per day. We also have gotten virtually any meals we've asked for comped over the last few years, including Silverado Steakhouse, Primarily Prime Rib, Don Vito's, Baja Miguels, and the Oyster Bar. No complaints from me but the mailers basically are non-existent.

Call and ask a host for a room comp next time you want one. Never had a problem. Rarely had a mailer.

There system seems logical to me. Don't spend a ton on mailers. Get full pay for rooms from people who are not in the know. Give away what is earned AND asked for.

Unless you ask for free play or cash, in which case they will laugh at you...

Can anyone recommend a particular host at SouthPoint? My husband and I have given them some decent VP play within the last year. I was wondering why we have not received mailers or e-mails lately. I guess it's not just us. Would like a good offer/comp night/s for mid July. This is my new favorite casino. Thanks for any input.
