It would be good to hear what kind of offers action given now (rather than historically) is generating. Anthony reported recently that Stations loudly proclaimed that they wouldn't be giving anything away any more (unquote). That probably isn't true, strictly speaking, but it would be good to know what it takes these days to pry a room offer out of them--again, if you have no past play history.
The industry rumor is that they're drastically shifting their target demographic as far as locals are concerned; they now want the upper crust instead of the proletariat. That's been shown by, among other moves, the permanent closure of the Fiestas. (And of course, no more buffets for the peasants.) Interesting to see how they treat the visiting low-rollers; it used to be pretty good.
