Stations offers going over a cliff

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a huge downgrade in their mailer from Stations. I used to get up to 3 free nights a month at any Station, $40 in free play, 2 free buffets and a multiplier. I just received one for Feb through April just for Green Valley Ranch that shows nights for $59 and up just at Green Valley and nothing else. That is a huge downgrade in one month's time! I'm trying to figure out how I might have offended them and I just don't get it. Just for reference, I am a Chairman who put @430,000 through last year. Not a high roller to be sure but I would think that it would qualify me for a free night! One of the 'perks' of being a Chairman is that you have a casino host. I emailed my host early this week and still haven't received a response. What a great perk! (: Anyone have any clue what is going on at Stations?

bearbear, we got exactly the same thing - Chairman, $59 and up (plus resort fee I presume), except it is Red Rock instead of GVR. If I try to book it online, it also gives me GVR on the same offer code.

bcc got Sunset Station for free, but I just got the Red Rock/GVR offer for $59.

We certainly didn't expect this. We are astounded.

I also got 3 months worth of $59 per night. WTF? Welcome to Pres. level CLV.................NOT!
Ok, I got fired up..........and Called Casino Mkting at Red Rock, and gave my NEW Host, an earful.

Told her $59 per nite is what you send your lowest Tier customers, NOT your highest Tier.

I said, has Stations gone crazy? We will be leaving in droves! Thats the same type of lamebrain
thinking that got Ven/Pal into trouble a couple years ago, and it took them over a year to woo
some of their upper tier clients back, and many Didn't return! Does GVR & RR want to do that?

She said...........No, and I will tell Corporate what you said, because that came from them, Not us.

Well, I said, YOU will be feeling the ramifications, because the Vegas boards are already talking about it.

Now..........I'm cancelling my GRV rezzie, til they come to their senses. Won't be giving them play,
until they come crawling back with Better offers.
It would be nice if this was just a mistake? My guess, somebody in Corp. will Wish it was!

Looks like it's an across the board decision - I got the same GVR mailer and I'm only platinum.

Remember when Stations cut back their offers about 2 or 3 years after they opened Red Rock? Well we haven't been back to stay or play at any of their casinos since. Not that they noticed. Occasionally they send a mailer for a decent offer, but they didn't want us then so they aren't going to get us back.
I got the same offer. It's $59.00 for Red Rock only. I used to get offers to be used at any Station. What happened to that?
I was President last year with Stations and I'm an East Coaster so that tells you how much I played when I visited. Dropped down to Platinum this year. I think I'm giving up on Stations and will focus on Boyd instead to supplement my CET + Cosmopolitan free bees.

What you have gotten seems particulary crazy though. That's got to be a mistate. I normally would get 3 comped nights, $50 or $100 in food and $100 in FSP. That dropped to 2 buffets x 2 and $50 in FSP for December and January.

I've gotten nothing for February or March except a special weekend comp and of course I don't know the details. I can't see my snail mail for another week and the online account gives me virtually no information.

I had a Red Rock specific offer that says it's good for March 1 through April 30th. No code so I called and got the code, and, get this, it's good for a 2 night comped stay that I can use MULTIPLE times between March 1st and April 30th. I think it said I had to have 5 nights between stays. NO FSP or Food comps. So, here I am a platinum and I'm getting multiple comps in theory that I can use every week for two months. Even so, it's a weird offer and there's little need for me to trek all the way to RR by shuttle, given no FSP or RFB. I'd rather stay at the El Co Cabana Suites and eat a comped meal at the Flame a couple of nights, get $50-75 in FSP and 5x points than go to Red Rock and get nothing but the comped room.

Neither CET nor Cosmo has full pay VP but I get exponentially more from those casinos for my play, even at Boyd and El Co (yes, where I am going to stay my upcoming trip) as well. That combined with the fact that at Stations you now need to run even more coin in through a full pay machine to get 1 point means the full pay machines have less value.

I WANT to continue to like stations but they make it hard. The resort thing is the last straw. I was told when I called that a comped room would mean paying for wi-fi if I used it. I have to pay for wi-fi too at CET but I expect to pay it there, not at a locals casino and if I just want to get on for a few minutes, I can do it free at a Diamond lounge. I know my buddy CLV and others have said go to the VIP check in and you won't be charged a resort fee at Red Rock but why on a vacation should we have to go through that trouble??

I really don't get it. I feel bad for the employees.

Edited to add: The offer is better than I remembered. Here it is and it's good from February 1st through April 30th

"3 Nights Maximum comp, 7 Night Maximum stay, With 2 nights required between stays, this offer is unlimited during the valid period."
I got the same thing. Average $20K a day and was getting $50 Free play and 2 buffets plus a double points offer. That is EASILY the worst offer I get from any casino, anywhere. Well now they fixed that by giving me no free play, no buffets and no multiplier. Perfect!

Station was a marginal play before hand but now it's a no-brainer. I am no longer playing there.
our only stations offer so far for feb.-mar.-april is quite a bit different different than the above.

admittedly, it's 'only' Boulder Station but except for 3 nights in Feb., 1 night in March and 5 in april, the remaining dates are marked 'free.' "Offer is valid for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights." Also in large type "NO HIDDEN FEES"...no resort fee? Bu not free play, no free buffets.

the wife and I are both platinum (admittedly easier to achieve than before) and stayed 10 nights at stations in 2012 (aliante/boulder).
