Stations offers going over a cliff

For most of us the free romms, free play, free food and the multiplier dissappeared. Now that there not filling the rooms they're giving that but nothing else.
Still at Chairman level and still getting $59 a night room offers just like my friend who is Platinum. I stayed at RR and I was comped two nights but I did not get them up front and had to go through a host instead of just booking through an offer. I don't know what I did to piss these people off. They even sent me an offer for Rancho which while it has some good machines is a dumpy hotel and it was for $19 a night. LOL I used to get three free nights at RR and GVR, with free play, a multiplier and two free buffets and now I can't even get free nights at Rancho!!! Maybe I just haven't lost enough money at Stations over the years to make these people happy.
As a local now it's hard to keep up with Stations offers as they change and jump all over the place. I am President level and my husband is Platinum. We still get multiplier days (separate from the ones advertised in the paper) though they are never on the same day. I get a $15 food coupon each month and he gets 1 free buffet. I get 1 free night at GVR a month. BUT, no more rollover points so after renewing President status for the next period there is not much incentive to play there any more.

Had a long conversation with a friend who has been Chairman for years and is not planning to maintain it any longer. He is a local and has always had invites to Super Bowl parties for himself and three out of town friends. This year when he didn't receive an invite he called his host who didn't call him back the first time. He was told that he no longer qualifies for these parties. At Sunset you now have to have "at least" a $300K line of credit. So he called another host at GVR and was told they need a $500K line of credit? WHAT?? We only love wealthy locals I guess.
Interestingly, I recently received an email offering a few comped days during May and June at Red Rock.

Can you say, shooting yourself in the foot?

Didn't any of these Marketing Depts. learn ANYTHING from the Ven/Pal marketing fiasco a few years ago?

I'm Pres. but only til July.
Stations is Still sending me the infamous $59 per nite postcard.

I can outwait them.............

In the meantime, staying Comped at Cosmo soon. Stations loss. foolish.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, happens in July when so many player's status levels will drop due to the new stricter parameters. We are President right now but will not be able to maintain that after July. I wonder once July comes and they feel that everyone is really on their "true level", if any tiered offers will return, and what they will be like. Maybe Stations felt they were just making it too easy to reach levels and the program got out of control, and in July they can basically start over from square one.

Or maybe, like everyone thinks, they have simply lost their mind!!
By stricter parameters are you talking about no carryover? I've got President locked again and tried to stop at a 100,000 but I was winning, so I took it up to 118,000. It was nice to have the carryover as a backup, but looking back over the last last 8 visits I've never had less than 50K, so it shouldn't be a problem with my one trip per quarter and usually a bonus trip somewhere in there. This month's trip is my bonus one and I probably won't visit a Station and just play at Boyd for the 3X points (even tho I've already locked in my Emerald at Boyd for another year).
It's a shame really I enjoyed GVR and Red Rock but I average $20K a day and can barely get a comped room. No multipliers, food or free play. No thanks!
I'm Platinum and get the fabulous $59 deal at GVR. A friend of mine, who hasn't played there for years was mailed the same deal. In fact, he also gets offers of free rooms at Sunset (which I don't get) and hasn't played there for at least five years or more. If you're wealthy enough to gamble tens or hundreds of thousands a year, I don't suppose Stations' lousy offers would really matter if you really wanted to stay there. For the rest of us, it's pretty obvious that Stations' comps for most out-of-towners are a thing of the past. With so much competition in Vegas, I don't understand why people still patronize Stations properties.
I recently received an email offering limited comped nights at RR during May, June and July. I haven't been to RR since the end of March 2011. I recently gave GVR an hour of play each on my way in and out of town.
