Stations offers going over a cliff

Sounds like the strategy is to stay away from Stations and in time they'll send you their "We Miss You" offers.

Free play is back. Just got an offer today for June-July, 3 comp nights any night plus $100 free play plus free upgrade to a suite (if available) at GVR or RR. Changing my code for the July trip to take advantage of it. No extra point days tho.

We are strictly low roller video poker players mostly with CET. It has been years since we played at the RR. Last week in the mail we got an offer of low cost to free rooms at RR in Jun - Aug. We were coming for a week in late August with 4 nights at the Rio and 3 nights at the Orleans for one of their $99 offers (3 nights plus a slot tournament). We booked 4 nights at RR (3 free and one for $59), cancelled the Orleans and changed the Rio to 3 nights. We have always admired the pools at the RR and now we will get a chance to jump in. I have no idea why they sent me the offer. It had my name and player's club number on it but as I previously said I have not played at a Station Casino for a couple of years and before that there was only a little play at RR or GVR during a quick visit and the play was always quarter VP. We will have to pay the resort fee (unless I can convince otherwise) but even with that fee the price is right.

fingerstim, I received a similar offer for RR. If I understand correctly, there is no resort fee on the comped nights. There might be on the night you are paying for.

out of the blue, got an e-mail three night comp at GVR with Tony Farina listed as the contact. no mention on how long the offer is good for, so sent a return e-mail back to Mr. Farina. would love to book it for mid-Sept. or later but wondering if that's asking too much. still awaiting response back (if any). any thoughts before we call him? probably been two years since we stayed there. this is the first non-Boulder Station offer we have received from Stations in ages.

I suggest you request specific dates for a stay. Even if later you need to change. Just saying "mid Sept. or later" might not generate a reply. Go for it! Good luck!

That might be happening. After receiving nothing but the $59/weekdays offer for 6 months, I've gotten free room offers from GVR. At the beginning of this year I decided to stop going to Stations and to use up all of my points for meals, which I've done. While my favorite place in Vegas is M, GVR was my second place, and I tried replacing it with the Palms, but I didn't like staying at the Palms that much. I'm now booked (comped) for the Palms and GVR on the same days at the end of this month, and am unsure which reservation to cancel, or, perhaps, just extend my stay at M instead and cancel both of the others. I wish Stations would be more consistent with their offers.

I hope that GVR Starts "miss"-ing me. I would love to trade in my Palace Station stay in August for 1 comped at GVR. If not, then this would be my first trip in 5 years where we didn't get a comped room at either GVR or Red Rock!

I'm still on the $59 room rate train and waiting waiting waiting for that comp room offer ...
