Stations - Resort Fee for Comped Rooms

Has anyone had any experience with Stations handling of their resort fee for rooms that are comped? Is it waived along with the room rate or do they insist on charging it even when the room is comped (like I believe the MGM properties do)?

Interested in specifically RR, GVR, Alliante, or Santa-Fe if it matters.

Each time we have been comped at RR., GVR, or Aliante, the
resort fee has been waived.
If you are not sure, just ask at checkin.

Last 20 or so stays at a Stations, no RF on comped rooms. GVR, SS, RR
