suddenly mail offers showing up again

Are things starting to get back to normal?   Are casinos moving back to luring in customers with freebies ?

Maybe.

After months of getting nothing - or really paltry offers - my mailbox is suddenly getting decent room/food/play deals again.

I'm getting free room offers from Tuscany, Sahara, Golden Nugget, Stratosphere, El Cortez, and even Stations Properties.   $25 food credit at most of those too.

Maybe brighter days are ahead for players.

That's encouraging. Right now, if anything, I'm seeing even fewer offers in the mail than before. I get emails for "deals" that are anything but, but otherwise, nothing in my inbox.

Ironically. Death Plague III may encourage them to at least ease up a bit. I'm sure they've been getting a lot of cancellations.

Not many offers

even LVA slim this year

been hunting for coupons

for meals

Even Groupon slim

I like a few higher end dining

especially Top of the world $88. Groupon it's gone

The two for one slim as well.A couple downtown

 NO Main Street station buffet

there is breakfast south point But long

way from strip for breakfast Especially when

one of the few if any 2 for 1 shows is

South point would be great to have dinner

buffet 2 for 1 oh well

Bottom line spending more on meals and

shows with pandemic last few years

I've got discount from MGM and one comp day any property

Silver Seven free room discount food

Golden Nugget some comps for food and. Spa if you book a room

thats about it LVA coupons not so great this year except Ellis Island

They even have a one choice dining rather then two as in past

Might be in top 5 for worst written posts ever here........

Still getting lots of "offers" for comp rooms at MGM properties..not so much with Caesars though....I have even got offers from South Point for the first time.  The Green Valley Ranch offers are just too expensive though.

As a "low roller" who only plays slots and VP ($20 in at a time) I am pleased with any offers that come in via email or snail mail. I just wish car hire companies would start to lower their prices so I could plan a trip this year...

Just came back from a 3 night comp stay at MGM National Harbor...I won a jackpot of $5,500 playing an older Monopoly Qucik hits slot with $2.50 max credits...Walked out with $4000 after taxes....gave the attendants $100 tip which was slightly high but it is all I had in change and they were happy.

I'm curious--do those offers say you still have to pay resort fees?

South Point is wackadoodle with their room offers. I play at about the same level every time I'm there--$5-10K per day coin-in--and sometimes I get pretty nice offers, but other times, there are looooong stretches when I don't hear from them at all. I think their offers are based on readings from astrological charts.

Kevin,  the dreaded resort fees are still payable for all my offers unless you have the upgraded players card which I don't.....I'm just a basic card carrying member with MGM & Caesars. (plus all the other basic casino cards)

My trip to MGM National Harbor was in fact completely free (comped and no resort fees or taxes)...That is because it was booked in my sons name who is a MGM "Prime" member.

Just got back from March Madness and no offers yet. But I'm hopeful that the casinos are starting to feel a bit of a pinch. Some cocktail servers that we've known for over 15 years were telling us business is way down, even compared to last year's MM.

Were you able to compare prior years' crowds to the present? It's been my hope that the post-pandemic feeding frenzy would subside and people who came to Vegas only to be ripped off at every turn and experience worse service and fewer amenities to boot wouldn't return.

I really really hope that the unwashed masses will have the brains to stay the hell away; then, the casinos will have to turn down the gouge machine. But of course, we've all expressed similar hopes about resort fees, paid parking, etc. etc.
