I agree with all the posts.  Part of the fun with the table games is the interaction with other players.  I know I don't have the same level of interaction if I'm forced to play higher minimums just to get a place at the table.  LV will be much different for the next generation.  

Room rates and dinner prices for LV are lower than other vacation destinations, so I don't base my travel decisions on what I experienced 20-30 years ago but what I know I will pay elsewhere. But, I will be gambling much less than prior trips!   Have Fun everyone!

The good news is its cyclical.  I doubt things will get much better for the casinos than they have been for the past 6 months.   Once the pent-up demand surge quiets down coupled with more casinos opening up....they'll have to go back to pandering to get customers.   Its already starting to happen.

$5 minimums may be toast simply because of inflation.    But I think promotions and freebies will make their way back soon.  Hopefully by my Fall trip  =)

I don't see us going this year.  I checked rooms at the Bellagio where we have stayed the past few years, and the cheapest rooms in October averaged $400 or more a night for a weeklong stay.  No thanks, I'm out.
