Unbelievable offer from Wynn/Encore

There is a posting about this on the free side but I figured I would post it here because many members dont go to the free side. I recieved ( and booked ) an offer for 3 free nights and $500 in free play. What makes this offer so unbelievable is the amount of play that I, and the other people who recieved it, gave them.

I went to the slotclub and signed up for the card. I collect players cards as a hobby so wanted one from the Wynn. The boothling told me about a promotion for new sign-ups. Earn x amount of points and spin the wheel to earn a prize. I'm not positive about the amount of points but believe it was 50.

I decided I would play untill I reached the required points to spin the wheel. I chose a $5 WOF machine. I put in 2 c-notes and after 5 minutes or so I cashed out for $480 ( $280 profit ) and had the required points to spin the wheel. I returned to the booth, spun the wheel, and won 2 tickets to LaReve.

This was all the play I gave them. Posters on the free side did the video roulette trick ( 18 on black, 18 on red, 1 on each green ) to earn the 200 points to get 2 free buffets and also recieved this offer or more. I'm not to concerned about how much play I give them on my upcoming trip because I have a feeling this will be a one time thing. Did anybody here recieve this offer?
Daughter got it and booked it for Aug. Her play was a couple years ago. Just enough to get the free buffets.
Yo- eleven.....................Good for you, I admire your style!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a similar offer from my only play in October of 2008 .
I did the roulette trick for the 2 free buffets .
My son and a friend who was with us did the same thing and also received this promo.
None of us has gambled at the Wynn since.
My offer is for 3 nights in a parlor suite ( on the weekend)
$200 a day in food and drinks and $1000 in slot free play!
I'm booked for August 13-15.
I could not pass this offer up!

Is this promo still running? I will be in Vegas in 3 weeks and would love to get in on it.
Question on the free room nights: how far in advance could you book? If I get the offer in March would I be able to use it the following March, or is it likely to have a shorter shelf life than that?
I am beginning to think that this Wynn free rooms and freeplay offer is an urban legend.
Thats because mattbob bumped a thread that was 6 mos. old.
Sorry...i didn't know there was a statute of limitations on threads!
I find it funny to see this thread bumped. I was the originator. Anniea, it's not an urban legend. I did recieve and use this offer. For 3 days I gave the Wynn alot of play. Hours and hours at the tables, mostly. Also some time playing $1 slots. Since my return, I've recieved offers for $129 weekdays and $199 weekends. I'm not sure if this is their regular rate or their casino rate. Whichever it is, I obviously did not give them enough play to warrant any more room comps. Like I said in my original post, this might be a one time offer, and it was.
