Value of the Silver Sevens 3-1 BJ coupon

I found it odd that where the mathematical value of the LVA coupons is listed, the value of this coupon is listed as $0.00. That can't be right.

You get a blackjack approximately once every 21 hands in a multi-deck game. The 3:1 payout means you get 1.5 additional bets. 1.5/21 is approximately 7%. So for the duration of the coupon (the number of hands you play before getting the blackjack) you're playing with a 6.3% edge, using the inherent EV (-0.7%) of the game as a baseline.

It should take you 21 hands. 6.3% of 21 is 1.33...i think. Too lazy to use my calculator.

I believe that the max bet is $25. So let's say that the EV of the coupon is 1.33 x $25. $33.33.

You could also calculate that you figure to put $525 into action before you get a BJ...and 6.3% of that is pretty close to $33. So that, or something close, should be the listed value of the coupon.

Somebody more mathy than I...please check my calculations.

Of course, if I used the coupon, it would take me fifty hands and I'd go 3-46 before I got it.

I just know that previous years there were some coupons that Anthony needed extra time to figure the value.
