Vegas.com?

A friend of mine is looking to book a trip to Vegas for her 20th anniversary. She's looking at deals on Vegas.com. She asked me if they were any good. I have no idea. Told her I'd check with the board. Anyone used them? Are the deals any good?

I haven't looked at their site because I'm pretty comfortable with our usual trip arrangements.

If anyone has used them I'd like to pass on your experience!

Thanks!
Bev
I haven't used them, so I can't comment on that, but I believe there is a deal through Costco where you can buy Vegas.com gift cards at a 20% discount. It might be worth checking into.

Good luck!
We booked a show with them with the Costco deal that deannajs mentioned. a $100 gift card cost $80.00 and you can use up to 20 cards per purchase according to the Costco website. The show discounted and had no issues using the gift cards from Costco. Plus the cards arrived in about 4 business days.
I have used Vegas.com and had no problems whatsoever, but i usually just book directly with the hotel.

My first couple of trips I used Vegas.com for air (Boston) and 6 nights hotel. I found that the total for combined air and room package was only $100 or so more than air alone if I had purchased separately. I did it all through the web and had no issues at all. Things have changed since then, and I can usually get a better rate through the hotels' website, and book air separately to get the carrier and times that I want. Vegas.com charges more -- and sometimes doesn't offer -- direct flights at popular times. Ocasionally Vegas.com may offfer extras like fun books, 2fers, show deals and special hotel room discounts. I'd check out booking direct with hotel and airline first, then go to Vegas.com to compare.
Either way, have a great trip!
I've booked rooms through them and at the time they had the "low price guarantee". I was able to find a lower rate which they not only beat, but then discounted even further by 10%.
They can be somewhat limited as to what they can offer versus what the hotel/attraction's web site will offer. You definitely need to check the price compared to booking it directly but the costco cards can certainly help there.
