Venetian offer pulled

I have had several great offers from V/P over the past 1 to 2 years. I've used 2 and had great stays. The last blast of offers came in last September. None since. I was able to book a 3 day comp on 9-30 for a stay in march. I just got an email saying that my offer had been cancelled. I have written confirmation . I called to discuss it with a "shift manager" as the email suggests. Worthless. Got the run around. Blames "corporate" nothing can be done all offers are cancelled. They do want me to keep the res $180 to $220 a night. BS Needless to say, I'll stay elsewhere in March.
Wow, after the fact. How lame.

I've been reading these threads and have to say I'm shocked that anyone would ever trust V/P again. IF they decide to start giving people offers again I would take them and stiff, stiff, stiff them. They deserve it for doing this to people after those people have trusted them to give them the comps their play deserves. V/P needs to learn a lesson.
Right on!
That's pathetic.

I just cancelled our booking for Sunday night there. It was too late to cancel Saturday without giving them my $200.00 deposit though. We'll just enjoy the room on Saturday and play elsewhere.

In a pinch..........the old "Illness" can get any room cancelled at last min.

Sorry that happened to you yoya. I'm not surprised. Can their P.R. possibly get any worse?

I wonder if they'd catch on if I try that tomorrow or later tonight, seeing as I have already cancelled Sunday.....
The "illness" excuse does not work at V/P. I needed to cancel back in December (booked the Phantom offer) due to my daughter's illness - they would not waive the charge unless I produced a doctor's note. She wasn't sick enough for a doctor's visit (what are they going to do for a virus anyways?) so we ended up going so I wouldn't have to pay the $350 first night's deposit. We enjoyed the Phantom, the $250 in freeplay and I didn't spend a dime of my own money at the V/P.

I am done with V/P no matter what they offer in the future.

LOL They TRIED that Dr. note thing on me, the ONE time in all my years of staying there
that I had to cancel last min.

I told the woman..........."What are we in, 5th grade? I'm NOT sending a Doctor note,
thats totally Ridiculous.......... Let me speak to your Supervisor."

They cancelled my Res. and No note was needed. Don't fall for it.

Thanks Sue I was wondering why I haven't recevied any offers.
