Is it some kind of mental condition that compels you to be an asshole about everything? Inquiring minds want to know.
Or just maybe...you are really so OBTUSE as to not understand that your "answer" to Patricia was patronizing? Look THAT word up.
Now, don't be a man and admit you were wrong.
You are the one wrong. My answer was to the point and succinct. There was no malace in my answer or any of this - What does it mean when someone is patronizing? transitive verb. If someone patronizes you, they speak or behave toward you in a way that seems friendly, but that shows that they think they are superior to you in some way.

Exactly! You acted as if Patricia was too stupid to know the definition of "oh boy." So you provided the definition (ostensibly helpful) while acting superior (posturing that she actually didn't know that definition). Patronizing!
What she meant to ask Jerry was, "Why did you say that?" I know why--he was being a jerkass and mocking her--and you didn't have to pile on.
And it's "malice," doofus. You're showing yourself yet again to be a petty little jerk--and one who doesn't know the English language, to boot.

You really are mentally ill. Take that truism any way you want.
One of the best threads in a while here ruined by the nonstop juvenile bickering. I shouldn't be surprised since one of the usual suspects has been arguing with other posters dating back nearly 25 years to the Lodestone and Players message board.
"Compton wasn't a fan of the Barbary Coast slot club, except for triple-point specials. With triple points five hours of dollar vp would earn a comp to Michael's, a top gourmet room. The former book owner in a note said only cashback was offered, no dinner comp, but it must have existed at one time."
Barbary used to be my LV home base. It was great if you knew how to hustle them. They used to have BJ coupons in LVA and Casino Player along with 9/6 JB and NSUD in 3/5play.
For VP, I'd always play into the wee hours of the morning. Once the slot club closed, slot floor supervisors had the authority to issue meal comp cards for the Victorian Room. There was one guy last named Walsh that used to always hook me up. I'd toss him cigars I got comped at other properties and he was always liberal with the meal comp cards for me. Lisa Vios used to be their host/slot club manager and she'd comp me to Michael's or Drai's every few trips.
I'd also use the cigar comp recycle hustle in the pit. Used to be a pitboss named Pat that would issue me a Victorian Room comp anytime even though the only time I played BJ was when I'd flat bet one green chip until I hit my first BJ for the LVA coupon.
The Chinese food in Victorian Room was the perfect remedy after a heavy night on the sauce. Michael's was complete gluttony. So good. Personally, I preferred Drais. I can still taste their amazing lobster ravioli.

It's a shame when an infrequent visitor asks a question and is then immediately jumped on and insulted by some self-aggrandizing jerkwad. David Miller has apparently decided to drive Patricia away. He'll succeed. And he won't even own up to it. Instead, his "defense" is to call me mentally ill. But I know the David Miller definition of "mentally ill" is "disagrees with David Miller."
He's like the dinner guest who shows up stinking drunk and proceeds to ruin it for everybody.
Returning to the actual subject of this thread, I had some great times at the ol' Barbaric Coast. They did things their own way, which had great and terrible aspects. It was the funhouse mirror of casinos. The coffee shop used to be da bomb.

I have never posted on the Loadstone and Players message boards and I havn't been on any boards prior to 8-9 years ago. That kind of narrows down the search as to who manny is referring to...

"David Miller" is a pseudonym, and the person who posts using that name has been screaming at people on gambling message boards for decades. I know it's the same guy because previous incarnations were also right-wing extremists, and had a constant and childish habit of calling everyone liars, plus the usual "ruining America" shit. Same guy.
