what's this?????????

Returning to Vegas next month for a week over the super bowl. Have not been for 2 years, have just done most of our gambling at local casino's (council bluffs).
Anyway my SURPRISE tonight when I went to my email was a 2 night comp from the Cosmo! Our last visit my wife and I did get players cards and played an entire day and a bit of another. Nothing big, we had not heard anything from the "players club" or marketing since we left there 2 years ago.
It does call for one to pay the "resort fee", which I think is mid $20 dollar range. It's not free but pretty close to it. Have not booked it as of yet, not sure I want to change my other reservations we already have made.
It does have a code on the email, if someone would like the code, send me a pm and I will get it to you. May work for you or may not, but worth a try if someone would like to give them a stay.
Well, I guess "good for you" is the right thing to say. Personally, I would tell the Cosmo "no thank you" unless they would wave the rip-off "resort fee". I don't consider any offer that requires me to pay a "resort fee" to be a comp. I am sure that ALL of the other casinos will be monitoring how many visitors accept the so called "comp" that requires that one pay the "resort fee" in order to get the "comp". Underhanded, low life, greedy bastards. And that is how I really feel, for those who will ask.
We get the two free night offer all the time without a lot of play and have never had to pay the resort fee once, even for internet. This has become one of our favorite places to stay as the rooms are some of the nicest we've ever stayed at besides Wynn, Encore, and Caesars. I have to say that the video poker pay tables are bad, but it's worth giving them a little play for the awesome free rooms.

Yep, I hate resort fees! Just surprising that I have heard nothing out of them for 2 years. If I do call and inquire about the offer I am going to ask if they can drop the fee, just really highly doubt that they will.

Well I called to check on the specifics. The offer that I supposedly was sent their are NO resort fees. Which is surprising because the email stated their was! She assured me it is FREE FREE. I will read my confirmation very closely.
Our offers always say something about resort fees, but with comped rooms, the fee is waived. We've stayed there many times and have never been charged anything, which is a great offer for such a nice room without having to give much play.
