Wynn/Encore comps

Would like to get on Wynn's radar for discounted room. My wife and I are not big players, but some play has gotten us discounts at other top spots on the strip. Is it worth it to get a card at Wynn and try to see if any offers come our way or are their comps very tight?

In almost every circumstance it's worthwhile to join a casino's player's club, present the card at every property, and see what offers roll in.

Yes, wife and I each got a card and only played through the free play that was given for signing up. I was mailed a $139 offer wife was given a $129 offer. Was able to use it at Encore, not a huge discount but better than most I've seen

yes, get a card.....definitely. I believe right now the Wynn is still offering this promo for new signups......

Wynn Las Vegas Two free buffets after earning 150 points. Same for both locals or non-locals.(This changes frequently, so ask the slot club first.) After earning first 500 points, spin the wheel for a prize.


Their buffet is regarded in the top 2-3 in town....and is about $40 for dinner.

Beware, if you stay at Wynn/Encore on a discounted room you will be assessed the Resort fee, which is steep, per night.

Also beware, if you do the buffet, I suggest breakfast or EARLY dinner meal. Both times we have done the Wynn buffet rather late, like 8-9 pm, and were very disappointed in the quality of the food (and the service). Actually would not have gone there at all the second time, but was given a comp by a table supervisor so went for it, hoping for a better experience. Not. I would hope it is just that the quality goes down in the later evening hours as things are winding down. Go early.

Get a card but don't expect great offers. I get free rooms, play and food at both mgm and Caesars properties but the best I ever get from Wynn is discounted rooms.

i played alittle at encore and for 2 years they offered me a comp room for three nights.......i never used it and now they want 129 per night???
