$5 Burger and Beer at El Cortez

The Las Vegas Review Journal has a coupon for a 1/2 pound burger with chips and a 12 ounce domestic draught available 24 hours at the Cafe Cortez.
You do not need a coupon. It is a special they are running currently. They even give you a choice of about 4 beers.
Hell of a good hamburger, too; probably my favorite downtown now (the one at Binion's was very disappointing last time). Only wish they hadn't changed the name of the coffee shop; Careful Kitty's was a lot more interesting.
I just came back (on Thursday night 11/15) and in front of El Cortez was a sign for this offer for $5 -- 1/2 LB. Cafe Cortez Burger (which is from Pure Midwest beef with No fillers and no additives) which is served with lettuce, tomato and dill pickle, as well as Chips and a 12 Oz. Glass of Domestic Draught Beer and I have just received their newsletter for December 2012-January 2013 which also lists that deal and says that it's for a limited time (which is at least through December and January).

It's a good burger. Not great, but good. Chips are a bag of Lay's. Beer choices were Bud, Bud Light, and (surprisingly) Tenaya Creek Pilsner.
