Another New LV Kosher Restaurant Opens -- January 2015

I just found out yesterday (Friday 1/2/15) that a new Kosher Restaurant (it is a Glatt Kosher Meat place with a Grill and Chinese Food) just opened up.

It's called "Genesis (Bereshit in Hebrew) Restaurant, it's at 4561 West Flamingo Rd. LV, NV 89103 (which is near Flamingo and Decatur -- which is West of Palms Casino), its phone number is 725-244-4034 and its website is at: https://www.genesisrestaurantlv.com.

The website says that the hours are: Sunday-Thursday 11:30AM to the last seating at 9:30PM (the kitchen closes at 9:45PM), Friday from 10AM to 2PM and Closed on Saturdays plus I'm sure the Major Days of Major Jewish Holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah and Pesach [Passover]).

It's under the Supervision of Chabad Of Southern Nevada.

Thanks, David. I'm likely going there in a few days, since I'm on w flamingo, already. Its too new a place for suggestions, except to ask what dish (no gefilte, please) would get the authenticity seal, if deserved? Thanks and Good luck!

Well this seems to be mostly an Israeli/Middle Eastern kind of place and so for an authentic Jewish type of dish, maybe you should try the Shawarma or Felafel. Otherwise, there is Chinese stuff (and these prices don't seem to be the worst as compared to Los Angeles prices).

They also seem to have Deli Sandwiches and Matzo Ball Soup and so maybe that's also authentic.
