Another Resource For Vegetarian Food -- Kosher Dairy Restaurants/Locations Around Las Vegas

Wherever they exist (including several that are in Las Vegas), Kosher Dairy Restaurants are a great source of Vegetarian Food. They serve no Red Meat, Birds or Seafood (except for a certain Fish Dish or two) and when Cheese is used, it uses Vegetable Enzymes instead of the commonly used Animal Enzymes. Also anything that could also contain any kind of animal related ingredients would not be served there but in their place would be non Animal based ingredients in the same product (this would include things such as Salad Dressing, Baked goods, Sauces).

So in Las Vegas, places to go are:

01). Adar Pizza -- Which is at 318 Sahara (right next to The Golden Steer Restaurant) which is not far from Las Vegas Blvd.;

02). Yafo Kosher Restaurant -- Which is on Las Vegas Blvd. by Convention Center Drive;

03). Huntridge Soda Fountain -- Which is by Charleston Blvd. and Maryland Parkway;

04). Panini Cafe -- Which is Way West on Sahara Avenue;

05). The Food Offered At All Southern Nevada locations of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf including those in Venetian and Palazzo as well as at Palms Casino;

and 06). Some of the locations of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (including at Circus-Circus and Excalibur Casinos -- Check through Krispy Kreme's website and/or call Krispy Kreme corporate offices for locations).

So check thse out if you're interested.

Oh and I forgot to add that:

Restaurant #1 (Adar Pizza) offers Italian, Middle-Eastern/Mediterranian and Mexican dishes;

Restaurant #2 (Yafo Kosher Restaurant) offers at least Italian and Middle-Eastern dishes (but I haven't been there or seen its menu). This is if this is still open -- it might not be open anymore -- I'm saying this as of 3/10/2014;

Restaurant #3 (Huntridge Soda Fountain) offers basically American Dishes;

and Restaurant #4 (Panini Cafe) offers I think Mediterranean (Italian) Dishes.

Also, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf tends to have (besides baked goods), Sandwiches and Salads.

Hey Group,

I found out through the Huntridge Soda Fountain's Facebook page that they have extended their hours to 8AM-8PM Monday-Thursday and that on Wednesdays they are seeming to offer Thrifty Ice Cream scoops for $1 each and Pints for $3.

I think I may seriously give them a try on my hopefully upcoming trip between 6/2 and 6/6/13. I'm liking what I'm seeing both in their food and their prices. It's too bad that the Gambler's Book Store isn't right by there anymore because that would give me further reason to go to the Store if it was still there. The restaurant is at Charleston and Maryland Parkway -- so not that far at all from Downtown LV.

Hey Group,

I just came back home a few hours ago from my most recent visit to LV and I did try out Huntridge Soda Fountain. It is in a Strip Mall by the corner of Charleston and Maryland Parkway.

I found the food, prices and service to be excellent and I highly recommend it!

And I saw a sign on the Door saying that they had Kosher Pizza for $5.95! I'll have to try that sometime!

RecVPPlayer, I think it's cool you have a continuing passion for updating us on kosher options, I'm sure it's appreciated.
I'm very happy to help, Chilcoot, and I want to be able to give people additional dining options beyond what's known. The more options we have, the better off we'll be!

Actually, the Chef told me that he just tells people that Huntridge Soda Fountain is now a Vegetarian place and by the way, while I was there, someone came in asking about them serving Chinese food and the Chef told the person that that ended a long time ago.

Hey Group,

I just noticed that I had provided a bad link to the Huntridge Soda Fountain website that I previously provided, so I fixed the problem. Do check this place out! I really liked it!

Oh and at least as far as I know (from what the people there told me), their correct hours are Monday-Thursday 8AM-8PM, Friday 8AM-3PM and Sunday 8AM-5PM and they are closed on Saturdays.

Hey Group,

I paid another visit to Huntridge Soda Fountain on Thursday 10/17/13 and found it excellent once again. The main chef, Scott is no longer there, but they were still excellent. I tried something different (the Russet) and it was nice and filling. See above for the website address but know that some prices may have changed -- the Russet is $1 more than is listed on the website (it is now $6.95).

Hey Group,

I paid another visit there this past week (on Thursday, 3/6/14) and found the restaurant to be as great as it has been and they are adding things to their menu all of the time, so check them out (especially on their Facebook Page).

I highly recommend "The Russet" which really fills me up! And please note that they use Thrifty Ice Cream for their Desserts and Shakes! Thrifty brand is an excellent Los Angeles based brand.
