Any expeience at Don B's at Fitz?

I'd appreciate a review
I've been wondering about it, too. I think I've mostly heard that the food at Fitzgerald's isn't really worth bothering with, but haven't heard much of anything for a few years. Anyone eaten there lately?
Don B's is nothing like the other restaurants at Fitz. Its actually pretty good!!

The wife and I have been dining there for years and in fact, just had dinner there about three weeks ago. The appetizer platter is very good. I had the rib-eye and it was excellent. My wife, who is somewhat of a picky eater, had a fish dish...I don't remember what...and she loved it. They also have a decent wine list, not that extensive, but a good variety.

Ask for the waitress team of Lessie and Sandy...tell them Don and Maria recommended them!
Good to know, Don, thanks. How would you rate the steaks compared to some of the other downtown places (Binion's, Roberta's, Redwood Grille)?

I ate there in March. Appetizers very good, meals good. I thought the pricing was good. Nice atmosphere, waitress was great. Overall good experience.

Binions Steakhouse has excellent steaks, better IMHO than Don B's. Cannot say about Roberta's or the Redwood Grille, as I have not eaten there. I would rate the steaks at Don B's on par with the steaks at Hugo's Cellar. But Hugo's Cellar is not a steakhouse and some of their other dishes are excellent, for example The Queen's Lobster and the duck.

Don, great feedback. Thanks!
