All you gotta do is blow $750,000 and you, too, can get in the privileged buffet line.

I wonder if I could make some serious buckazoids by offering to wait in line for one of those one-percenters so they could go on playing the slots. Surely they'd slip me a hundy or two?

Caesar's has been offerent 5X and 10X tier credits the past year and so I was able to get Diamond Plus with ~3000 original Tier Credits!!  Just got another 5X Tier Credits offer so I turned 750 Tier credits into 3750!!

That's the only way to do it. The only trouble is that those bonus days are few and far between, AND they don't announce them far ahead enough for you to plan for them.

A friend told me that CET room rates went up when they had a tier credit multiplier promotion. So the thing to do is stay somewhere else, then pop in and give them the needed action and no more. Then kick back and wait to be christened Triple Plutonium or whatever.

And earn those points by playing video poker. Don't touch the slots, or your new status will wind up costing you thousands of dollars.

Yes apparently the match bonuses are being eliminated.

My son got match from hotels associated with Caesar's

on business trips throughout the year. Also got a Caesar's

credit card. I don't know all the details. Maybe his tier will

be less this year. Has been nice. Especially at hotel check in.

The magic $20.Or more.  Has got upgrade even with comps.

For those who are 'Strip-centric' ( or your significant old lady demands it, etc.), the TC multiplier events at CET are currently  far and away the best single semi-routine promo on the Strip. I receive these offers a couple months out and have participated in the 5X and 10X promos several times, FWIW. Comparatively, they ain't a bad set of promos for Strip-goers; you can earn free rooms and then go off-Strip or downtown to find better gaming alternatives ( and at the same time keep the lovely old lady smiling on occasion).

The Bacchanal Buffet line ( if participants aren't shiny Diamond tier or above) is a routine deterrent to this buffet. We ate there on our last trip (early Feb 2024) and were admitted quickly due to Diamond + status..FWIW). We used the celebration dinner comp to PARTIALLY pay for it, which highlights the bigger problem with this buffet for us..pricing. It's just too damned expensive out of pocket ( total bill for two at the dinner buffet option was $165....ugh!). The desserts were excellent, but the rest of it just morphed into overkill, in our opinion. Tradeoffs, I guess... depending on whom's doing the trading.

The very few times I've considered trying the Bacchanal (I'm definitely not a Stripper), I've discarded the thought because I felt I had no chance of managing to try even a fifth of the dishes they were offering...but I would nonetheless have to pay as if I was going to eat some of everything. The other considerations in play have been that there are other excellent buffets at a fraction of the cost, as well as a LOT of very good "normal" meal options.

The cost of Diamond tier if you start cold turkey and then play the best VP schedules (and stay the hell away from everything else), and do so on a 5X point day, I've calculated at roughly $400. For that, you get some free rooms, the $100 dinner credit, etc. Probably about a breakeven play, as you can't consider comps to be worth full rack rate.
