Bacchanal Buffet Review

I'm not a buffet person at all, even the higher end ones never did anything for me. But last week we decided to give this a try for lunch. Showed up about 12:15, no line, got right in. $35 with players card.

One word to describe: Amazing. Very nice area, you aren't packed in like sardines, plenty of space. The seafood area had great shrimp, sea bass, salmon, many other items (no crab legs, must be for dinner only). I love how everything is set out on small indifvidual plates rather than in a big pan on a steam table. Want some wings or sweet potato fries? They come in little individual fry baskets. Very cool. The carving station was great, Italian, Asian and the desserts.... all outstanding. On your receipt it asks that you limit your dining experience to 2 hours. I thought that was funny. And then we spent almost that much time there. I would recommend it.
Thanks for the info. We plan to dine there before going to see Celine Dion.
thanks, we always love the better buffets and can't wait to try it this summer.
I have only eaten the breakfast leg of the buffet, and it is the best I have had. It's expensive but well worth it in my book.

Try doing the switch over from lunch to dinner. They bring out the dinner food promptly.

I was a little disappointed in the prime rib and lollipop ribeye. I thought both cuts were on the dry side. But the beef brisket was outstanding. I also liked the JUMBO shrimp and individual salads. Everything was fresh and service was very attentive.

That's reason enough for me to skip it.

I for one was disappointed and won't be going back. It may be great for seafood lovers, but I too didn't find the beef items to be worthy of such a high price. As for those little individual plates for some items, why can't they use ramekans for the creme brulee? The creme brulee was in those same cheap aluminum tins that are used at other Harrah's properties.
I really enjoyed it, but would NOT stand in that line with the Non-Diamond people.
Crazy, Too long. No buffet is worth that kind of wait.
Took about 15 mins With Diam. card. Which is sane.

Pricey. I just dont eat enuf to qualify for a buffet.......but it was worth going once.

I think Wicked spoon is still my Fav. for buffet if thats what the Gang wants ta do.

Lastly, don't like the name. Caesars Buffet would suffice, dontcha think?
I ate there today and noticed that they have added a Platinum line.
I'm curious, for those of you who have seen long lines what day/time are you going? I was there on a Friday at 12:15 and no line of any kind. I went by there again about 4:30 that night and no line. And went by there Saturday about 12:30 and no line.
