Bellagio restaurant questions

I booked an offer from Bellagio for a slot tournament that comes with food and beverage in limited restaurants. VIP gave me a listing of the following restaurants that are included:

Noodles
Olives
Cafe Bellagio
The Buffet
Cafe Gelato
Jean Philippe
Snacks
and room service and the mini bar

I've eaten at the buffet, but that was more than 5 years ago and I've eaten at Olives for lunch with Barb & Dan a few times. Other than that, I have no experience with these places. Can anyone with experience please make recommendations for me, please? I know it's limited food, but I'd like to enjoy our meals for three days. Thanks in advance!
Snacks has a Cuban sandwich that is to die for.

Sounds like you have limited RFB with non gourmet restaurants, I've been lucky enough to eat at Noodles with Alice on a few occasions, great food. It's Asian noodles of all types and a good selection and great quality. They are open late also if you want a light late night snack.
The Cafe is a pretty good coffee shop with generous breakfasts, comparable to Augustus over at CP.
The buffet is my favorite I would recommend it for Friday or Saturday night when they have their Gourmet Buffet. Get a line pass if possible.
I haven't eaten at Jean Phillipe in awhile, but I think Alice said the last time she was there the crepes weren't as good as they used to be but are still allright. Deserts and baked goods are always nice to pick up and take to the room.

Hope this helps!
Thanks for the info! I'm actually looking forward to staying at Bellagio. It will be a nice change and the food thrown in makes it even better.

I have to say we were disappointed in Noodles. Clangy noisy, didn't like the food that much. Felt rushed to decide on what to order. However, there were lots of Asians eating in there, so maybe we just didn't get the right things. Still, it's bare bones and noisy.

Have had BLT and Philly Steak Sandwiches from Snacks, pretty good. We carted ours up to the room and by then the fries were cold. Probably better if we ate inside the place, but it's noisy. I'd try Snacks again and get the Cuban sandwich that Calipso recommends.

Did Jean Philippe once, didn't care for the crepes. But it was a few years ago.

Liked the food at Olives. Good scallop meal. Steak was just OK per hubby. Didn't like how dark the place is at night. Two topper tables are tiny, so beware and don't let them seat you at one.

We eat at Cafe Bellagio lots. Burgers are excellent, like off your grill. Good Reubens, Chicken Fahitas, French Onion Soup. Good filet. Share a creme brulee (very different, three flavors). Big omelets. Haven't had anything there that wasn't good.

Cafe Gelato is just a little snack place, mostly gelato.

You'll get a line pass as part of the tournament perks.

Bellagio provides major food and drink at each tournament session, so don't eat a lot before your sessions.

Enjoy your stay at my favorite place!

Thanks for all the info, Candy! March can't come soon enough. I'm actually excited about this trip!
I used a similar offer in May.

I really enjoyed Olives for lunch more than dinner.

The gelato was amazing at cafe Gelato.

The buffet was great weekdays and weekends. Always some interesting choices.

I cleaned out the mini bar daily (The guy at check-in actually recommended it, LOL).

I also purchased tons of chocolate, truffles, candy at Jean Philippe every day to bring back for gifts. It is way over-priced but after you sign receipts you will not even see the charges. Confirm with check-in but I believe Jean Philippe is UNLIMITED.

Noodles was okay. I would like to go there again. I ordered a giant noodle soup bowl(I had a cold) that was recommended by the Asian couple next to me. I think my husband ordered Pad Thai or some other noodle dish and it was oozing oil. I couldn't eat it. Tea & drinks were good.

Also had Cuban sandwich at Snacks, it was awesome.
Thanks for that info, JenD. Were you on limited food or full RFB? If limited, did they give you a daily amount or a meal amount?

Wow, you could really rack up a bill at Jean Philippe if it's unlimited!

That's two recommendations for that Cuban sandwich. I'm going to have to try it.
Cafe Gelato is fantastic for a sweet treat, but I am not sure if it is a place to get a meal.
I was limited to the same restaurants as you. They will not put a daily or meal limit. I think it's just "easier" for them. Like I said before, you will not even see the room charges to these restaurants.
