The best breakfast in town!

Not the cheapest in town, mind you. You can get $4/5 breakfasts everywhere you look. I'm talking quality here:

Mary's Hash House. Near Decatur and Sahara, in Sahara Decatur Plaza. Not to be confused with Hash House a Go Go. They have great Midwestern-style comfort food, breakfast and lunch, and of course many different hashes. Portions are immense. They make their own jams and jellies, ketchup, and sauces. Freakin' delicious. Prices are quite reasonable.

The most pleasant surprise I had was that they weren't crowded on Sunday, when every IHOP and Denny's is bursting at the seams. My waitress told me they get a locals, weekday crowd. It's now my go-to Sunday breakfast.

1, 1A, and 1B...... Egg& I, Omelette House, Emerald Island.

That was on my Food Network tour list...but I ended up not  making it over there.    I'll have to make a point of it next time.   thanks

I did try Crepe Expectations  on Eastern Ave - and that place was pretty awesome for breakfast with reasonable prices.

The Original Sunrise Cafe(Eastern just north of the 215), the Broken Yolk Cafe(Town Center) are my new favorites.
