We always go to the Victorian Room at Bill's. before 8am you can get 3 eggs, hash browns, bacon or sausage and toast for 5.99. It is interesting to see the late night/early morning partiers from Drais at 6am!
As for Egg Works, I do know that I have at least (in the past) seen Buy One Get One Free coupons for it (and another restaurant -- The Egg & I) in some of the LV Freebie magazines, so keep your eyes open for that!
I don't even own food coloring. Name another recipe where food coloring is the central feature. I don't have a single recipe that uses food coloring. The only appropriate place is that I can think of is on a kid's birthday cake.
And if it wasn't called "red velvet" instead, "mild chocolate" would people be so excited?
Pablo, don't fault me. I didn't come up with the design. Call it what you want. But what about the colors in a King Cake? Dyed Easter eggs? Colorful Christmas cookies? Annatto oil is a lot to do with color and far less with flavor, bad thing to use? Blood oranges and pink lemons? Presentation.

I agree. We ate at Maple Tree several years ago and the one thing I remembered is the maple coffee. I went home and experimented, re-created it the best I could and now enjoy it occasionally here. LOVE it!!!
