Best buffet for Thanksgiving in Vegas?

I'm planning a trip for Thanksgiving Weekend...Thurs - Sun. Was wondering which buffets I should consider. I understand that I won't be able to use any 2/1 coupons so reasonable prices wouldn't hurt either.

We have been in LV for several Thanksgivings and all I can tell you is that buffet lines are extremely long. One year saw the line at the MSs go out the door, past the bar and wrap around the casino to the escalator. At that point we decided to order a pizza.

Is this the entire day or only the dinner buffet? If there are only long lines at dinner we can always do something else and hit a buffet for breakfast or lunch

I'd have to say the entire day. I live in Vegas, and have yet to see a short buffet line at Thanksgiving. However, many casinos offer Thanksgiving meals for a reasonable (or cheap) price in their coffee shops. A year or two ago, we took a friend to Ellis Island for a big meal in their coffee shop for $8 or $9 per person, and the wait wasn't too bad....maybe 15 minutes, versus an hour or two at local buffets (M, GVR, or Sunset). I imagine anything on the strip is packed, as anytime there's a 3-day weekend, everything is busy there.

We plan on arriving early in the AM...maybe we'll do a breakfast buffet early and avoid them for the rest of the day...trying to juggle all our options since we'll have 1 night downtown and 2 nights on the strip. I usually try to make the most of the transition between hotels/locations by including the ever present need for food into the equation
