Best "bang-for-your-buck" Steak in Vegas

Wonding what people on here would suggest is the best "bang-for-your-buck" place for a steak in Las Vegas. I'm looking for something on the Strip, maybe Downtown. Something that would combine price (for food and wine), size of portion, atmosphere, etc...

Has anyone tried the Steakhouse at Bills? I hear they have bottles of wine for half price on Mondays...

Binions Downtown? I have my 25% off with my MRB.

Thanks in adavnce,

CM
Well, I have to qualify up front that I'm not a wine drinker, so I can't answer how that impacts price.

But for just the steak, if you use the coupon for the Flame at El Cortez, I think you'll get a great bang for your buck. I've had there 2 2or 3 times, and they were all well worth the price. Yes, the sides cost extra, but the sides are large enough that 2 people can easily share a side. And the last time I ate there, I had the rotisserie chicken, which included roasted potatoes and carrots.

If each of you gets a steak and you split a side, the 2 of you should get out under $60 ($30 with the coupon), plus the cost of your wine. You might even be able to split a dessert for that price, although I can never even finish the steak, much less add on a dessert.
I know this sounds silly but my husband had a steak at the Courtyard Cafe at Fitzgeralds and he said it was amazing. A friend of mine recommends Billy Bob's at Samstown. He says their steaks are just wonderful.
You also might want to check out Tix for Tonite, as they have great deals on dining, including at strip steakhouses. Gets 50% steak.

I think Carve at Eastside Cannery with restaurant.com certificate is great steak for amazing price.
I went to Binion's Steakhouse in 2008. It was very good. Prime rib end cut was huge and delicious. Went with three other guys and they allowed us to use LVA coupon AND ACG coupon. Looking forward to going back but unfortunately ACG doesn't offer a coupon anymore.
Had Valentine's dinner last night at Binion's Steakhouse with Mrs. Don. Food is awesome! Wine list is OK, variety could be better, prices are reasonable.

Circus Circus Steakhouse would command more $$$ if it were at most any place other than Circus Circus.
The wife and I are huge fans of Joe's Steak and Stone Crab at Forum Shops. If we don't have drinks (yeah, right!), then you can get out of there for about $110. Not the cheapest, but the food, atmosphere, and service is better than any other steakhouse I've been to. And trust me, I've been to many of them throughout the country.

My first answer would be Twin Creeks at the Silverton or Billy Bob's at Sam's Town. Both provide excellent seared flesh of a dead cow, especially for the price. You want something on the strip or downtown though, so that changes things. I don't do the strip for a number of reasons, so my recs are just off strip. Both are a short shuttle or cab ride from the strip. First would be the Canal Street Grill at the Orleans. It's not a steakhouse by def, but offers a few choices along with prime rib. You dine in a beautiful room offering good service at 50-60% of what you'll pay on the strip. A well kept secret at the Gold Coast is the Cortez Room. Again it'll offer a few steak selections along with PR at prices just below the Canal St. Rich wood paneling along with white tablecloths sets the tone. Though not small, cozy would be my first thought.

Downtown, you're on your own. I've never had a steak down there so......

Good Luck!
