Best "bang-for-your-buck" Steak in Vegas

Ellis Island or Bills
We used two coupons at the Flame (El Cortez) there was three of us. Two split the garbage can salad one had salmon two had Prime $41.
Hard to go wrong at the flame. Look for jackie to saunter thru about 8 pm. Binions is also a fine dining experience, with some coupies available. The range at harrahs is my best strip dining experience. Nobody here try hugo's? i stand at the door while i wait for magnolias line to wither. My compdining tab is too short, wah. GOod Luck!
We had the Beef Wellington at Hugo's Friday night. It was stellar.

Bang for your buck
DT- go with the Flame, and use the LVA coupon
locals-Twin Creeks classic menu is a good value (they also have a hh at the bar, drink specials and reduce prices on tapas)
The Gold Coast has a very large T-bone (16 oz I think) with 5 sides and a glass or beer for $10.95. I don't know if it's changed, but it was good when we were there. Ellis Island is also good esp. with the LVA beverage and entertainment coupons thrown into the mix!
I'm a big fan of the Cortez Room at Gold Coast.

For under $30 you can get
- Salad
- Relish Plate
- Fresh Bread
- Large Ribeye
- Glass of Wine

On the downside, they dont have any beer on tap. Only bottles.

When were you there and where did you get this? I know they used to have it in the Monterey Room, but that has been closed for several years. And it was a good bargain for $10.95.
Dining Sunday at the flame I viewed a couple servings of steak, heard the 'ahhs' from steak eaters, and tucked into a just passable queen size prime rib. Last time i was there, the small cut was huge, and perfectly cooked. I still recommend the flame, and i saw the gm stroll through sunday afternoon, not jackie. It usually suggests good mgmt when a gm visits a casino operation to insure attention to detail. Good Luck!
I'm guessing that the t-bone special at the GC went south along with the Monteray Room. It wasn't a bad deal, but not really that good of a steak. I had it way back when it was priced at $7.97, (I told you it was a long time ago) and it ok for a late night meal. Do yourself a favor and try the Cortez Room.

Good Luck!
