Boyd Steakhouses

I have almost $80 in players club comps I need to get rid of at Boyd. I was thinking Canal Street at the Orleans...is there something comparable or better at one of the other Boyd properties? Anyone been to Canal Street lately?

The only Boyd steakhouse I've eaten at is Billy Bob's at Sams Town.Personnally,it's one of my favorites.They do have really good steaks.And if your into country music,the place has a western atmosphere.

Ah, yes, I forgot about Billy Bobs. It used to be a favorite of mine when I was a few years younger. I've since learned to be better with my portion size management. Their steaks are HUGE! I'm afraid if I ate their now I'd probably spend the rest of the day holding my stomach in the hotel room =)

One vote for the Redwood at the Cal. Steaks are great and the king crab and lobster were great also. The seafood wasn't cheap, but since you're using comp $ it's no problem. The place is a small room with great service. (make reservations, since it's so small - we ate at the bar last time since we couldn't get a table before 9:30 pm on a weekday).

If you don't want a big steak at Billy Bob's then order the filet mignon which comes in something like 8oz (petite) and 12oz sizes.

SC Prime @ Suncoast is outstanding. We'll be going again when we head to LV at the end of Sept. The view to LV from the room is a bonus, but it's the food that brings us back every time. Great service too.

Another vote for SC Prime at Suncoast.

I go to Billy Bob's all the time and its...fine...but SC Prime and Second Street Grill are quite a bit better, especially if price is not an issue.
