In the Pacific Northwest, Almond Chicken in Chinese Restaurants is a breaded chicken with an almond sauce on top. Usually the chicken is slices, but sometimes in nuggets. This is apparently unique to Washington, Oregon, and Northern Idaho. Everywhere else, Almond Chicken is chicken on a bed of veggies with slices almonds on top. I've heard Reno has it. Does anyone know of a Chinese place in Las Vegas which might have the breaded Almond Chicken? It's one of my favorite foods that I can't get in California.
Thanks!
Jeff
