Breakfast in Boulder Nevada-reccomendatrions ??

On my way to touring Route 66 need breakfast will spend time in LV so looking for homey alternative.

In Las Vegas, my recommendation would be Mary's Hash House (not to be confused with Hash House A Go Go).

In Boulder City, there's an obvious choice, but I'm not sure I remember the name. I think it's something like the Coffee Pot or the Coffee Cup. It's right downtown. Has served lake skiiers for years. One of the specialities is green chile omelets -- which I had and much enjoyed.

It's the Coffee Cup. It's pretty good and very popular since it was featured on the Food Network some years ago.

Thanks Sue. I think it was Guy and his DDD show. And "pretty good" is right. You're not going to get blown away with something fantastic, but it's standard breakfast fare done very well.

Is the Coffee Cup the place that has the guy who can crack the most eggs per minute or hour?

It's on the "Nevada Highway" but one usually turns left to stay on the main road to Hoover Dam. If you go straight at that big turn, it's a several blocks in.
