Caesars bets $17 million on the Strip's biggest buffet

The top five buffets in Las Vegas
Can we expect a coupon in next year's MRB?
You want to know what I wonder????????? Being a local when I want to have a nice time at a buffet either with friends or to show off my town to guests . I spend a few dollars extra and go to the Wynn and have never been disappointed simple as that. IT is common knowledge that Steve Wynn makes an effort to have premium quality in all of his venues but I am just discussing the buffet at this time. The jury is not out yet but I wonder if Ceasars will have the quality that I experience at the Wynn. For me the quality of the Lox as well as the salads at the Wynn are all wonderful time after time not to mention the crab legs at dinner time. I have it down where I eat a bit too much like so many at a buffet but I have learned to be sensible in my choices for myself. I have no plans of winding up in an emergency room after eating outside of my usual manner to an extreme. I am curious and excited to try this new venue probably at lunch time versus any other meal.
How is bigger better?

I won't eat there unless Anthony and the LVA say it's worth time and money.

That's what make opinions so varied. Wife and I ate there twice in May and found it to be just average. Definitely not up to par with a Bellaggio, and not what we expected at the Wynn. Felt it was waaaay overpriced and lacked the quality that we found at Bellaggio, or even the M. Would not go again, but that's just us.
Thanks for your opinion ,I might give the Bellagio a try it has been a lot of years since I have been their.
I love buffets, and the worst I ever had was the old one at CP., and that includes Terrible's! Seriously, until the reviews are in from many people I won't waste my money at Caesar's and that's paying with comps. Bellagio is and continues to be my favorite buffet in Las Vegas, especially the Gourmet Buffet on Friday & Saturday nights don't mind paying if the quality is there.
have not visited many harrahs properties where the buffet is above average.

a few comments from folks here would tell me if I would waste my time on it.

many proven buffets in vegas.
By the looks of things this buffet might be up there with Bellagio, Wynn and Cosmo. Hopefully CET will do things right because the buffets in the group are all pretty average (Paris, Rio and PH are just not what they used to be).
