We just returned from Vegas where we went for our celebratory dinner at Giada's at the Cromwell. We wanted the valance charged to the room. When we went to check out, they had charged the entire amount to us. So they were basically getting our $100 and another $100 from Caesar's. Check yur bills carefully before you check out!
Donna, I hope they eventually made or will soon make things right for you. Some time back a poster told a similar story (though not about a $100 celeb thing). He was treating several friends to dinner, had enough Total Rewards points to cover most, but not all, of the bill. The restaurant wouldn't separate the charges, as in use his TR points and charge the remainder to his room. No go. He had to charge the whole amount to his room. I'm sure he was able to apply his TR points to the room charges at checkout. But in the restaurant it was sort of an embarrasing moment, like being told in front of your friends that your credit card is rejected.
