Chart House at Golden Nugget - Dress Code? Landry's credit

I'm considering trying out the Chart House at the Golden Nugget on our next trip for a quick bite to eat to hold us over til dinner. Going to arrive in the afternoon probably around 1:30 or 2:00. We hope to hit the pool right after we eat so I'd hate to have to get all dressed up if we don't have to.

My question is what is expected in terms of attire? Any recommendations?

Going to have the dining credit on my Landry's card since it will be my birthday month...is it necessary to use the full credit or can we use half of it and save the rest for later?

Charthouse at GN is just casual attire. When we were there in Aug, all 4 of us were in shorts. They like reservations although they weren't real busy. At least from our orders, stay away from the prime rib and stick with the fish entrees. Prime Rib was one of the worst I've had but others liked there fish. Enjoy the aqaurium.

We wore jeans there in Jan. The food was very, very good (all had fish). I really like the place & hope to return. We used our Landry's Cards to pay too. I think they said the balance would remain on the card if we didn't use the entire amount. I used all of my credit, so I'm not really sure of that, tho.
