Circus Circus Steak House Worth a visit?

For our Fall trip we are considering the Circus Circus Steak House. Food, Service, Value.??

About 5 years since my last visit but I dont think its changed much. A decade ago it might have made the top ten list of vegas steakhouses. Today I'd guess its more of a top 20 place. I wouldn't call it a "value-place" but its not an overproced ripoff like some of the places that are center-strip.

Since you are obviously a paid member of this site I might suggest you use your Palms 50% coupon for the N9NE Steakhouse at that property. I think its better than Circus Circus and that coupon swipes $50 off your bill.

Be aware that the Palms 50% off cannot be used for the prix fixe at N9NE.

I have been there many times, most recently about a year ago. The food is quite good, the atmosphere is dark and "old school" steakhouse style. The wait staff is attentive and overall, it rates fairly high in my book. Once you make it through the walk (masses of families and kids), you forget that you are in Circus Circus. Note that I have not eaten at any of the "high end" places in Las Vegas for comparison. Hope this helps.

I definitely agree with Fishwolves. If you want to relax with a good wine and have a leisurely dinner in "old school" Vegas style this is the place to go for dinner.
