A couple tightwad questions

It's been quite awhile since the one time I've been to the Peppermill and I do recall that the order of nachos we got was big. On that visit the reason we went was basically to experience Peppermill. This was inthe 80's and we often stayed at Stardust and after a few years of walking  past the place and using the pay phone that was there near Riviera and the Peppermill we decided to check it out. On our next trip we ( my wife, daughter and I)would actually like to plan to have a meal there. My question is does Peppermill have a meal sharing fee.

Also I've read of a weekday happy hour at the Strat ( 2 for 1 cocktails, I believe) We're not big drinkers but my wife and I would like to check it out. Can each person have only one cocktail, meaning only two total drinks are consumed, or does each person have to purchase a drink and each person then is entitled to a free drink?

Well I wish I could help but I've never been to one in my life. Sorry. Bumping so maybe someone else sees your qyuestions.

Also can't answer specifically, other than we haven't encountered an eatery anywhere in the last 30 or more years that had "meal sharing" fee.  And we always tell the server up front "We are sharing the xxx, and the xxx."   They don't seem shocked, no mention of sharing fees, and haven't seen that on a bill.  Helps them bring the right amount of plates, too.

Will say, though, I'm reading about other names of "fees" people are complaining about, not specifically at Peppermill.  Just be prepared, psychologically (and financially), for anything.  You can ask going in.

Drinks, I've seen each drink (as many as we have during a happy hour period) listed individually, and a notation after each one declaring the 50% discount.  So like charging half price for each drink.  Is that the same as 2-fers?   Again, ask going in.

But haven't been to either place.

As far as the SkyLounge at Stratosphere....

They have a Happy Hour with half price beer/wine and appetizers.   Cocktails are regular price (and not cheap)..most everything on their martini menu is $14 or higher.   For the life of me I dont understand why people pay to go to the observation deck in the tower....you can go to the lounge for free and get a drink for less than what it costs to the observation deck one floor above.

I cant speak to meal sharing fees at Peppermill.  The only place(s) I've ever seen nail you for eating off your neighbor's plate are buffets.
