Downtown Grand New Restaurant Is Now Open

Downtown Grand's new restaurant called Freedom Beat is now open. It's in the space that used to be the S + O Restaurant.

Thanks for the info. Looks like its not exactly a "value" place. I bet they'll comp the crap out of it with tons of coupons and discounts. Some of the items are expensive even at half their listed price. Beer Can Chicken for $45 ? That better be some damn good chicken.

The Beer Can Chicken for $45 is served family style for up to four people with a choice of three sides.

I just saw the menu on their site. Looks very reasonable.

I looked at the menu twice, and didnt see beer can chicken

It's about in the middle of the menu in the "Shared and Served Big" section.
